Use gorilla glue
They work great if you put them on with gorilla glue. Very good traction

Good traction
Just got back from a hunt, and the traction strips worked well even after a light rain. Definitely felt like I had a sure footing and wasn't going to slip while moving around.

A mush have on your stand! Put on a new stand and used through an entire season with little wear and tear. Provides good grip in damp or wet conditions.

All deer stands should come with these traction strips! When it is rainy or snowy, or when you have your climber tilted way up in front so it will be level after you climb up to your hunting height, these tractions strips make your climb easier and SAFER!

I had to put tape to hold them down until ...
I had to put tape to hold them down until the back glue finally set in. took about two days. I would advise putting some adhesive spray on the backs before placing them as the glue it has doesn't seem to hold very well. But aside from that, they work as advertised. And yes the stand was clean, dry and dirt free.

I bought these because of the Summit name. I applied them to my BRAND NEW Summit tree stand a few months ago. This tree stand had literally never been used and was 100% clean. I just got the stand back out to get ready for the upcoming season, and every single strip had fallen off. The adhesive is absolute junk. Luckily, I was able to find them all, but now I'm going to have to use super glue to get them to stay. Seems pointless to me as they should have used a better adhesive. Very disappointed in this name brand product.

These are awesome for traction but the glue is cheap and they come off easy. Recommend skateboard tape.
