since there are shrimps in the sphere. How do I know the transport will not affect them?

We have been producing and selling this product since 1986. We have custom designed boxes that insulate and protect the EcoSphere in transit. All shipments are made by overnight air service. The packages leave our facility about 3:30 pm and most are delivered by 10:30 am. FedEx is very familiar with our product and takes great care of our shipments. Any motion the EcoSphere experiences is like a little wave in the ocean, not a problem at all for the shrimp.

Is there a flat bottom on the sphere or does it have a stand? Just trying to decide between pod and sphere

It has a flat bottom, and doesn't want to roll. It's fine without a stand. It's pretty heavy for its size, and it has a low center of gravity, so it wouldn't be easy to roll it over. I have it on my wooden side table, and if I push it, it slides across the table instead of rolling over, so that's a good thing. Not sure about the pod, though.
