KD Frames Nomad 2 Platform Bed, Twin

I bought this frame to use with my Leesa mattress and it was extremely easy to assemble (once I moved the 60 pound package from the front door to my bedroom, that is! It's very long and very heavy and I only bought a full size frame). It comes with the instructions, hardware, and Allen wrench. You will need to supply the appropriate Phillips screwdriver. It's best if you have two people, but I did put mine together alone and it took about 2 hours...I've had it about four months and it was great the first 2 or so...but the last few weeks, it's started squeaking every single time I move. I've tightened the screws and checked all of the connections...but it won't stop making noise. I'm hoping that with some beeswax, I can lubricate the wood (as it comes unfinished and mine was green in places) and that will alleviate squeaks.I definitely recommend this frame for people who like classic, simple lines or are buying a memory foam mattress that doesn't require a box spring. I would suggest saving the instructions (I taped mine in a plastic bag underneath the frame so I don't lose them), because if I ever move, I will need to take it apart and re-assemble. I bought optional 18" legs to use (the frame comes with 15" legs) for added height under the frame to store totes and boxes.

So easy to assemble. How many times has something you ordered boasted easy assembly and before long you're tearing your hair out?Easy, easy, easy. And I'm a 70 year-old grandma!Very solid. I bought it to muffle a motor that kicks in somewhere near or below me, the floor vibrates and wakes me up. I've had this assembled for several days now. Am finally getting a good nights sleep every night, again. Thank you Nomad.

Simple assembly, nice looking wood (I happen to think poplar is very pretty), bed is sturdy and stylish. This feels sturdier than a similar IKEA bed we have in our home. The slats are thick- about twice as thick as those on the IKEA bed. I even liked the way the bad was packaged - no styrofoam to deal with!I am very pleased with this purchase and the fact that the wood is sourced and product is manufactured in the US. I plan to order another bed from this company.

I bought 2 twin beds for my two boys and love them except they seem too long for the twin mattress and there are very sharp edges. It may be for an extra long mattress

Incredible value. Made in America, beautiful wood, very easy to assemble (took me only about 30 minutes), and best of it all, it doesn't squeak and wobble like every other metal platform frame I have used. Additionally, this frame sits a little bit higher off the ground, giving me plenty of room for storage. I will be purchasing from KD Frames again if I ever need a new bed frame.

Great platform frame, definitely, and reasonably priced. Easy to assemble. Made in USA! Haven’t had a chance to yet, but am going to give it a couple coats on polyurethane.I’ve have/had big, heavy, bulky household/bedroom furniture and I love how lightweight and durable this frame is.

Solid wood (tulip poplar), Sturdy, Made in USA, Easy to assemble.The flat heads of the screws are visible at the foot and head mostly and a couple along each side if you are fussy about things like that.The wood is attractive but unfinished. It is planed very smooth so it's ready to be painted or polyurethaned if that is your thing.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy and the wood is beautiful - lovely and smooth. If you like the light color, a simple clear protective coat is all you need. I painted mine white with chalk paint. It looks great.
