Really useful kitchen item
Really useful product but I am dropping a star because the coating has blistered a little on the inside. Love it for steaming with the timer and not having to keep my eye on it.

Simply great addition to my kitchen and producing lovely meals.
It's a great addition to my kitchen. It's replaced a smaller slow cooker without any other functions. This gadget has replaced so many other gadgets. I've roasted beef in it, steamed, and baked. I am delighted with it. This alongside my Ninga air-fry oven has all but replaced my need to use my double oven which costs so much more to use.

Not built to last, buttons are appalling
Update. Don't waste your money on this. The power button broke whilst still under guarantee. The whole unit was replaced by Russell Hobbs but the same fault occurred on the replacement very quickly the 2nd time. It is unusable as this button confirms the program. They don't sell a replacement power/button unit so it's now scrap. It is an issue with the design of the buttons. I am now ordering a new slow cooker & it must be one without push buttons. Also I won't bother with a cooker that sears this time, the non stick on this one scratches quickly even though I only ever used wooden utensils.Bought primarily for the sear function to totally avoid stove use & cut washing up. It can be harsh, care needed when softening veg, needs more stirring than on the hob. The lid fits well so keeps moisture in well. Perfectly happy with both slow cook modes. Use high for dark meats, low for mince & other meats. Food isn't hot enough after low setting though, I turn it to hot for 30mins before serving. Cooked joints of beef well using slow Cook function. Not happy with the roast function. Yes you can cook a small chicken in just over an hour but no different from using the slow cooker function. You would struggle to fit the lid on top of a chicken bigger than 1.4kg. Also no instructions in the booklet for what temperature or time to set for roasting, I went for the defaults. Tried the steam function for Christmas pud. Awful, far too violent, water splashed everywhere, just used slow Cook setting in the end. Biggest gripe is difficultly washing it, doesn't fit in my butler (so big) sink. Already have quite a few scuffs in the non stick despite only using wooden spoons & soft cloth to wash it up. The buttons are a bit annoying too, have to press really hard sometimes. I do use this at least three times a week but if I had the choice again I would go with a large but traditional ceramic crock pot style slow cooker. This one is trying to be too many things and not doing them all well.
