Computer Speakers, USB-A Powered PC Speakers, Wired 3.5mm AUX, No Bluetooth

I recently had to replace my monitor, which finally quit after 8 years. This happens. One thing I did not notice on the new monitor was no built in speakers. So I decided to look around, and I found these. For less than $10 I got me a little sound system that does what I need. It sits under the new monitor and stays out of the way. It was easy to setup. Plug the USB cord into a USB port, the audio plug into the headset jack, and I'm ready to rock and roll. It's not a high end speaker set, but the quality is fine for when I want to watch a video or a news report. My computer is a Mini-PC and I couldn't install a sound card if I wanted to. The cable length is more than sufficient and you can separate the cord to reach where you want. The lighting doesn't shut off, but that's no big deal. As long as I can listen to my MP3 files or news or videos, it works for me. It's NOT Bluetooth but that's fine since I didn't have to try and pair it. Plug and play. Simple. And That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it! No static as others have mentioned. It works with my PC even when I'm running Linux

I didn’t expect much from a small set of USB computer speakers, but these TAOTOSUNE speakers honestly surprised me in a good way. Setup was about as simple as it gets—plug the USB-A in, connect, and they just worked. No drivers, no fuss, which is exactly what I want when I’m trying to get something running quickly on my desk. Sound-wise, they’re solid for everyday use. I’m not an audiophile, but for work calls, YouTube, background music, and general computer use, the clarity is better than I expected at this size and price range. Voices come through clean, and I don’t have to crank the volume just to hear dialogue anymore. They’re compact too, which matters more than I thought it would. My desk isn’t huge, so having speakers that don’t take up a lot of space but still do the job is a big plus. They also feel lightweight but not cheap or flimsy. Bass is obviously limited—you’re not getting anything that shakes the room—but that’s not really what these are for. They’re more of a “reliable daily driver” than a wow-the-room setup, and they fit that role well. Overall, if you need simple, plug-and-play computer speakers for work or casual use, these do the job without making things complicated.

This computer speaker is amazing for the price its sound quality is like no other. Easy to plug in and just turn the volume to how loud or low you want it. Cable length is long enough. It's just as u see here that what you get in the box.

If you have reasonable expectations speaker is actually alright. Certainly a massive improvement over our small bedroom TV's onboard audio. Not a rich sound but reasonably dynamic. Fine for general purpose like a home office PC. For gaming use it will probably be disappointing. Even in this price range there are many satellite versions that would be more fulfilling. Or better yet opt for a USB plug'n play model for PC use. Speaker is very basic. USB powered and only input is the 1/8" aux. Vol knob is analog, not digital, and with no OFF position. Lacks passive radiators that can help with bass, but don't think would be of much benefit paired with the speakers used on this. Bit annoying the knob isn't marked. So applied a dot of nail polish to indicate the center position. Using with my TV I leave it at a fixed 50%, and can still plenty loud enough and control level with TV itself. Since input is analog may hear some background static if speaker Vol is cranked up. As had been noted the LED lights are way too bright. Took it apart and replaced the 1KΩ LED resistors with 4.7kΩ. light level is still readily noticeable but no longer a distraction. The modification is maybe overkill, but for me I have to tools and components to do so so was worth the couple of min of effort. Video was taken with my phone so audio quality is more of a general reference. It does sound much better in person. The phone's mic fails to pick up the beats and low end. Honestly, I was expecting much worse testing this out. Being so cheap the presumption was it would be yet another return item. I appreciate this time I was proven wrong.

The blue light behind the volume control know is annoyingly bright but the knob is easily removed and the interior blacked out with a sharpie, or black paint. Apart from that, these speakers are great for use with PC or laptop - especially since they are US powered and so are easily moved with the laptop. Sound quality is adequate, but definitely not Hi-Fi. All in all, for using with computer these are perfect and a great price. My wife and I no have three of them and they have performed flawlessly - just what we needed.

I've been using several different rechargeable Bluetooth speakers with my computer, and they all seemed to work well enough. The big problem was that they'd lose connection, and if I tried to use them with the headphone jack I'd get a buzz because of ground loop issues with the audio connection and the power connection. When the last of those quit working because the battery stopped charging, I bought this. It's less expensive than getting another Bluetooth speaker, and it works much better. It gets its power from USB and its audio from the headphone jack on the back of the PC, but I don't have ground loop problems. It's easier to adjust the volume than it was with the Bluetooth speakers, because it has a knob on it. So now, I get better functionality, better sound, and more convenience for less money - that's definitely a win! I'm no audiophile, but I find the sound from these to be just fine for watching Youtube videos and doing Zoom calls. They're not particularly strong in their bass response, which simply isn't an issue for me. If you're listening to music, you may want something a bit more powerful, but for general computer use, these are perfect. One last thing: I LOVE that these speakers are one unit, rather than two separate speaker boxes connected with cords draped across my desktop. The unit sits nicely under my monitor and the cords tuck out of the way along with the monitor cords, so it's completely out of the way.

Very low sound, it’s easy to set up, and sleek. But, I bought these hoping they’d be louder than my monitor speaker, and it is not.

This speaker is good for its price. The audio quality is good for the amount of money you pay for it. My only problem I had with the speaker is that the blue light surrounding the nob is so bright (for context I have my pc in my room). At night the light is to bright it keeps me up sometimes and I occasionally have to unplug the speaker just to get some sleep. I am about to go off to college and don't want the light keeping me or my roommate up so I ended up opening the speaker and removing the light from the inside. If you are having this speaker in a office space than this is a good cheap option. If this speaker will be in a bedroom or something I would recommend another option unless you are willing and capable to take the light out yourself (it wasn't hard, just annoying).
