How does this toner work?

Salicylic acid, the active ingredient, is a beta hydroxy acid that gently dislodges dead skin cells, oil, and debris. It also improves skin texture and tone while promoting collagen production to encourage the growth of new, healthy skin cells.

Who should use this product?

Ideal for normal, combination, and oily skin prone to bumps and clogged pores. If you have a darker complexion, use with caution, as extra melanin in the skin may lead to hyperpigmentation. Do not use if you're allergic to aspirin.

How do I use it to get the best results?

Apply Clarifying Toner once or twice daily after cleansing. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply to the T-zone or entire face, avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse. If going outside, follow with broad-spectrum SPF 30+.

How quickly will it work?

Results may vary when using our Clarifying Toner, but you should see some improvement after a week of consistent use, and noticeable improvement after 4 weeks of consistent use. The treated skin should appear clearer, smoother, and brighter.

I've noticed a small stinging sensation after applying the toner.

BHAs must be acidic to open pores, which is why our formula has a pH range of 3.3–3.7. Due to this lower pH, you may feel slight burning or stinging at first. If irritation or discomfort continues after a few uses, we recommend discontinuing use.
