If you are using a retinol, this is perfect for keeping your skin hydrated. It has no scent, so if you're sensitive, you don't have to worry. It's very effective at keeping my face nice and moisturized at night while I use my tretinoin. Some may find it a little expensive, but in my case, it's worth every penny I spent.

I am genuinely convinced that this brand can do no wrong. This product works wonders on my sensitive, dry skin (caused by tretinoin) and doesn’t leave me greasy either.

This really helps with my "mature" dry skin. The best thing is it doesn't burn my eyes or irritate my skin at all. Everything but Vanicream has burned my eyes or irritated my skin, except for this product. The Vanicream is fine in the summer, but this works so much better in the winter. Love it.

It’s okay. The reviews I read were spectacular, which is why I decided to try it. It doesn’t go on easily, so I have to use a lot of it and it feels heavy on my skin.

I keep this balm on hand and use whenever my sensitive skin needs a soothing moisturizer.

I did a lot of research on moisturizers with minimal ingredients (aka no treatment actives) and that would be rich enough for my dry skin in winter. This was in most lists and since I adore the Avene RetrinAL line, gave it a try. It's OK but nothing special. And the combo of a pump with a collapsible tube isn't my favorite.

I have contact dermatitis and this is the only face cream that doesn’t irritate my skin long term. Thank you, Avene!
