Everything was perfect

Using as Marine base. Pulls in better than the Tram mast mount at similar height. As a 70cm, reaches repeater ten miles away, With TYT TH9800 at 50watts, reaches out (on ocean), over 15 miles, Installed 30 feet above sea level on Intracoastal Waterway near Mile Marker 23, and CG Sector Jacksonville and some distress callers come in clear with both sides of conversation received clearly. Out of six different antenna installations, this is best reception and gets the best SWR results on 2m CALL. Easy install.

Works fine on 2 Meters, however gives me a high SWR warning on 442.000 Mhz.

I was just starting out and had no idea what to get. This one had good specs, so I figured I would not be out a lot of money if it didn't work. It works outstanding. Started out with a hand held, then used a mobile for a base station. 20 feet of mast and 4 feet of antenna and it gets out great. People in the area cannot believe how clear my radios sound over this antenna. When they are back in stock I will buy one for my Dad and set it up for him.

I mounted this on a 50 ft telescoping fiberglass mast. Setup is easy. I put 100 watts to it and saw NO reflected power. All 100 watts went forward. It takes a lot to impress an old dog but in impressed.
