These were AMAZING for my medical notes in all of my college and high school classes. I can draw graphics onto them and use them to study in a nicely sized, portable way. I love the transparent idea of them. I’m still using them and I’ve had them for forever. My only complaint is that you can’t use them with certain markers, pens, pencils cause they don’t sink in, they just smudge even after hours of sitting on the sticky note.

I'm a habitual underliner, and note taker. I just NEED to underline whatever speaks to me as important to remember. I want it to stand out on the page, so if I want to find it again, I can go right to it. If I'm reading a book that I might seem that I would pass it along to someone else when I'm done, I don't want to mark it up. So this sort of thing must have been invented just got me!! There a lot of these types of sticky notes on Amazon, and they all look alike. So I read a lot of reviews. The reviews for this brand seemed more favorable. So I decided to give it a go. There are already photos on other reviews so I don't need to post any, but I can say, I did try different types of writing utensils, and the ones that seem to work best, meaning that they don't smear, and they show up well, are sharpies and mechanical pencils. The medium I tried that did smear was a gel pen, and another type of colored pen. But that's not to say that all gel or colored pens will smear. These have left no residue behind on any book surface I've used, including the sheer seemingly fragile paper in my old Bible. This post-it almost disappears on the page. It's exactly what I was looking for.

Decently sticky, and works very well on white paper! Black paper is more noticeable but it still works. They come in 10 skinny stacks. Pen smudges bad, pencil is a bit hard to write on, but sharpie works perfectly with no smudge. The smudges are the only reason it's a 4 instead of 5 star. They seem decently durable, I wouldn't continuously move stick from page to page though–otherwise very easy to use and stick.

I did not know that such things existed. These are perfect for study if you don't want to mark up a book. BEWARE of using highlighters. They will mark the opposite page. They do not bleed through, just mark the opposite page.

I use these to make note in my textbook! They are just opaque enough to write notes but not block the words. Great Buy!

These are great for marking up books, tracing diagrams and drawing! I’ve been using these for a long time now and I haven’t had to purchase more due to how many you get. I will warn that if you use a ball point pen or a slow drying marker then it might smudge, just make sure to let them dry if you are worried about that.

This was a neat little set that works well for my Bible study. I loved being able to color code the topics with notes I wanted to highlight and include my own reminders. The clear notes were great for extra “memory jogs” that I wanted to remember for my own personal life. I have a larger bible with margins and these were the perfect size.

Used this to annotate my beloved copy of Daughter of Smoke And Bone (it was an iconic part of my edgy childhood), and planning to use this to annotate more books. This supply of transparent sticky notes will set me up for a long while! I love the idea of annotating my books with my thoughts + feelings, but I don't want to actually write on the books themselves (it feels like vandalism). This was the perfect solution! Works with graphite pencil, coloured pencil, ballpoint pen, gel pen, and marker! Also works with posca, but you have to let it dry a fair bit first. Remember with ballpoint, gel pen and marker to leave it alone a bit before touching it, otherwise it will smudge. But with ballpoint I guess you could deliberately do that to "bold" your words :D Will stick for a long time. I wrote on one and stuck it on the wall since the day it arrived and it hasn't fallen off even after 2/3 weeks. I didn't even have to clean the wall beforehand like they say you have to do to stick stuff to it. Booyah!

These are great. I can make notes over things and still see the information beneath. It's great for adding to notes and reviewing for tests.

I bought these to annotate my books. After trying every pen in my apartment, the Posca paint pens seemed to work the best on them. Pencils, my black ballpoint pen and fine felt tip sharpie didn’t fare too well. Great price for the amount you get though, it came with 10 individual packs of 50 sticky notes (500 in total)
