Works really good for cooling arms
Works really good for cooling arms, legs, feet and hands. Weaker and more effective than a conventional ice pack. Oh...I used it for my plantar fasciitis and after my hand surgery.

Read up on how to use it before wrapping!
Unfortunately I didn't understand the best way to use this wrap, and did not wrap tight enough, and it fell off and was ruined in the dirt. Expensive mistake, but, I tried again, and cut it in half, and firmly wrapped the effected area just above my horses hock, then wrapped vet wrap to secure it. This worked really well, and it never fell off again, and vet wrap is cheap! I used it about 10 times or so before discarding, and it did seem to help with his swelling. Not entirely sure if it's worth the price, versus an ice boot that's much more expensive but will last longer...hard to say.

I purchased this after reading great reviews, I was so excited to get it but I HATE IT. I can't get it to stay on. It un-sticks from it self right away. I will be returning it.

Save your money, don't buy this wrap.
The concept of this wrap is good I guess but the product won't last more than one (maybe 2) application/s. They are hard to apply and also won't stay in place unless you put a polo wrap over them. And lastly but most importantly, they rip very easily. In my opinion, not worth the money.

a bit tricky to use, but worth it.
I live in the north and hosing your horses legs is not an option for 7-8 months out of the year. This product easily lets me apply cold and pressure to an injury. It is mildly awkward to work with, but no less so than those hulking big ice boots that are on the market that cost 3-5 times more. You need to make sure the wrap is uniformly wet when you apply it and make sure you use the sleeve that comes with it to hold it in place and keep it clean. It is not for extended unsupervised use, but I do wrap my injured horse and leave her tied in the barn alley while I ride another one. I recently used the coldflex wrap when my mare stuck her front leg through something and had a lot of heat and swelling. This product really draws the heat out!! I came back to her after about 45 minutes standing with the wrap on and the injured leg was steaming! I like that I don't have to worry about any tissue damage like you would from applying ice for too long. I have used the same wrap about 9 times now and it is getting a little grungy looking but I just try to wash it/scrape it off a bit before I rewrap and put away. Its a good idea to wet it before you put it back in jar. Don't let it dry out and keep it in the fridge. Also, don't leave excess gel to dry on the horses leg...wipe it off!! When it drys it acts like glue and I ended up cutting it out of the hair. For the money I would highly reccomend this product. It takes a little fiddling with, but in my opinion so does any leg wrap!
