how do we know if they are biodegradable? I;d like a confirmation from the company

I called the company on Aug 12 and they said they are not. (sorry) They still are a great product.

Will this refill fit my "Pet Genie"?

Apparently, yes they will. A reviewer for the Litter Genie refills says she bought one for her Pet Genie pail and is very pleased with how they are working out, both in terms of fit and of containing smell.

This says it's 10.5 feet, which makes it the smallest refill I've seen for a Genie. How can it last 4 months?

I think they are suggesting that the 4 pack could last 4 months. That would be 1 month per re-fill.

Does anyone else have trouble getting the lid to snap in place? Mine doesn't snap down over the refills so what is the point?

Perhaps the bag is blocking the lid snap? or, you don't have the replacement refill oriented in the top correctly?... The peel strip portion should face toward the front... maybe that would help!
