Good quality. Keep away from your dog!
Works very well in the Takeya infusing bottle. I had to buy another one because my dog liked it, and the holder, very much!

Not the same material
I purchased the Takeya cold brew/tea infuser pitcher and then proceeded to dirty the nylon mesh insert to the point that I needed to replace it. I bought this as a replacement but the material is not the same (maybe an older stock still being shipped out). I was able to make cold brew without store-bought finely ground coffee grinds leaking out of the strainer with the insert that came with the pitcher, but this replacement appears to have larger openings and lets grinds through. If not for that, it would be perfect replacement.

Amazeballs for cold brew coffee!
Do yourself a favor and get this infuser already if you enjoy cold brew and already own the Takeya pitcher!I use this infuser in two 2 Quart pitchers in my fridge. Basically I'm infusing in one while drinking the other. By the time I kill one pitcher, the black goodness is ready in pitcher #2. Simply dispose the grounds, refill with fresh grounds, fill with water, repeat. As for the product, the micro mesh is really fine, and short of minor silt, no grounds end up in the coffee. It is a two piece affair, and the top screws into the lid of your pitcher; but honestly, you don't need to screw it in. It's tall enough that when you put the cap on, by way of simply twisting it on, the infuser gets a bit threaded on as well, essentially keeping the grounds out.Cleanup is easy by simply rinsing with warm water. I've been using mine for a few months now without seeing a need to take a soapy sponge to it.Get one now and save yourself $6 a cup buying from your local coffee shop!
