Smooth Clarity, Beautiful Sound Stage, Dissapointing Connector Build
Originally purchased in 2016..Sound Stage and Frequency response are absolutely fantastic and they're comfortable with added comply cushions however, I can't recommend them until the cable end of the connector is made of metal. Both cables that came with the iem set have cracked and refuse to hold the iems in place (attached to the able)... Leaving the listener with zero working audio. I contacted the manufacturer back in 2017 and received lackluster customer service. The vyrus have been sitting now for a year... I just pulled them out of a drawer and rigged them to confirm the sound,... Amazing.. Really dissapointing that the cables suck.

Since Iv'e owned this the connection always has been bad, don't know if it was a defect or not. I have to play with the wire all the time to get sound, once its connected sound is great. Basically spent a lot of money on something i cannot use anymore.

Breathtaking Sound, Broken Connections; A Tale Of Two Monitors
Exquisite sound quality. Every bit as good as my ATH-M30Xs, with a more detailed, slightly less veiled tone. Smooth, warm bass even on the undampened purple (treble-heavy) turnings, given the use of comply 500-series tips. The mids are detailed but a little recessed for my vocal-centered tastes. The treble is beautiful and sparkly, especially on undampened filters. The soundstage is unbelievably large, especially when using silicone/foam hybrid tips, beating quite a variety of not-to-be-trifled-with over-ear sets, including my M30Xs. Extremely good sound for the price. These are, however, very high impedance, so an amplifier is an *absolute* must, unless one is using a platform with an integrated amp.I find the undampened gold and purple filters preferable (detail, space and sparkle!), followed by gunmetal (smooth, fun).Unfortunately, my first order was defective (improperly tapped filter threads, had to get it replaced), and the 2-pin connectors just don't do it for me. They seat well at first, but wiggle loose quite quickly, getting worse each time. After a week of daily use (stored in hard case) the sleeve split on one cable, making it even more unstable. I tried glue-shimming it and pushing the prongs apart, which worked for a time, but eventually had to super-glue the cable to the connector.TL;DR: I love these headphones--they are incredible sound for peanuts--but I can't recommend them until Trinity a) makes the 2-pin's sleeve out of metal or 2) changes to a different cable-monitor connection. They also have occasional dud items. I really wish I could recommend them. For now though, you'd best put your money into their Delta Hybrids (on their main site), as they don't have the connector to worry about.

Great IEMs for the price
These are my first IEMs that aren't $20 cheapos and they do feel like quite a set up.I bought these because although I like my MDR-7506s a lot but I can't use them while biking.Pros:The packaging/accessories/cable quality are quite nice. The fit is quite comfortable, especially with the foam tips.Sound quality really starts to show with high-quality recordings.Cons:The cable was difficult to insert into the drivers, had to push quite hard.EDIT: One ear has stopped working, after moderate to heavy use after like 4 months. It's that thing where you can twist and contort the cable at the jack just right to get it to work, but as soon as you let go they stop working again. Never had any earbuds that don't die this way so I'm just taking off 1 star

Stop looking and just get some Vyrus.
Bought them, love them. Incredibly well designed, divinely detailed. The swappable filters make huge difference for personal tuning. Easily the best sounding and best made IEM in this price range. Now I want to drop $300+ on their push-pulls. Get them while you can, they won't last long.

Trinity Audio Vyrus Earphone Quick Review by mark2410
Trinity Audio Vyrus Earphone Quick Review by mark2410Brief: I refuse to make a virus joke.Price: £59 or abouts US$73.Specifications: 7mm Neodymium Titanium diaphragm Drivers, Impedance: 16Ohm, Sensitivity: 108 +/- 3DB, Frequency response: 20 - 20000Hz, 24ct Gold plated 3.5mm Jack, 1.4M length cable x2 (memory wire and non memory wireAccessories: You get a bunch of tips, 13 pairs I think, 2 cables, one with memory wire, the triangular case. A 6.25 to 3.5 mm jack, a right angled jack, a shirt clip, two metal filter tubes and I think 7 pairs of acoustic filters. Yeah so that means 7 sound configurations before you even look at the tips.Build Quality: The buds are metal, the jack is metal too. The braided cables are thin so super flexible but I wouldn’t want to tow a car with them.Isolation: Pretty good. They are dynamics so not super great and it changes a bit depending on your tip choice. So these would be okay for out and about and fine for on a bus. Tube and flights I’d skip though. As always they will be more than enough to get yourself run over of you don’t watch where you’re going near traffic.Comfort/Fit: Great, no issues. In and done.Aesthetics: I like them. It’s no secret I like bare metal and this sort of dark gunmetal colour is my favourite. I think they look pretty damn awesome, they may not be loved by everyone the same but come on, they look lush don’t they?Sound: Oh so much of an acoustic contradiction. They have such a scaled, darkness to their body, their bass is so firmly ridged. Solid, like some darkened gothic castle wall. The treble instead of injecting light is more like a flash of lightning across a darkened stormy night. There is the flash streaking across the sky, a brilliant, delicately beautiful fractal like streak yet that crack of thunder booms forth announcing its raw power. Visually lightning is so fragile yet cracks out of nowhere, then it hits the ground and obliterates whatever it hits. The bass here is that thunder clap, dark and foreboding yet such unyielding power. The treble like the crackle of lightning across the sky, a light flash of brilliance. You can of course play about with the relative abundances of them both with the stupid number of filter options. You want more flashes of light? Swap to a more trebly filter. You want that solid unyielding bass to diminish, swap to bass lighter filter. Personally I went with the Gold with dampener and it was like an acoustic thunder storm and very much fun.Value: At £59 it’s in a super competitive zone but this stands out a bit with all those filter option and tips. Plus if you’re outside the UK with the present exchange rate you are getting a serious discount. Cough, Christmas present, cough.Pro’s: A beautifully epic darkness to its presentation. Darkly bassy yet with a coldness to it. Squeee!!!Con’s: So many tip and filter options you’ll be forever wanting to swap them about.
