Optimate 6 Select - 12V 6A, High Performance Automotive Battery Charger & maintainer for premium AGM, Deep-Cycle and Motorcycle Batteries (TM-371)

I had three “smart chargers” that if the battery was actually low< they would detect the battery and therefore wouldn’t charge. This charger IS NOT one of those useless chargers, This is actually what I replaced those useless chargers with. This charger works great, even on batteries that are very depleted. Highly recommend

The select button is a nice upgrade from earlier Optimate select chargers. The earlier ones used a heat sensor under the case to select voltages/power supply and could be slow to respond in cold weather especially if your finger is cold. Optimate utilizes the latest recovery, charge, optimize and maintain-24/7 programs that batteries love. They do it safely as well and from my calculations only consume 1watt average when in maintain-24/7 mode and about a maximum consumption of about 90watts if charging a large drained battery at 6amp output. The charger is surprising fast so you won't be consuming 90watts for very long. I love this charger. Read the manual to understand it!
