This leather is awesome and just what I was looking for. It seems very durable and it looks just like what I wanted. I rebinded my Bible for the first time never rebinded anything and overall I’m very happy with the product and think it’s going to last a very long time with this leather. Would buy again it’s inexpensive.

My old A5 notebook was fake leather advertised as real on Amazon, so when it started falling apart I decided that rather than get burned again I would just make my own. Bought this and an A5 ring binder mechanism, salvaged the brass clasps off the old notebook. The leather was easy to work. I had the whole thing done in about half an hour, and I have nothing like the proper tools (I used a pencil to mark my measurements, a pocket knife to cut them, and, a large nail and rat's tail file to make and widen my holes). You can see the result in the pictures - given my skill level and the tools I was using, it came out remarkably well. I can only assume this is due to the workability of the leather. I ordered the "soft brown" variant; it's a soft, matte leather colored warm middle brown. Smells like leather. Patinas nicely with use. I have no complaints.
