remote does not work & replaced with a new battery. The alarm clock would go off and would not set the clock to the correct time.

Matches the description but shipped a product from early part of the 2000`s
The product is according to the description and works ok till now. But the manufacturing date is that of the early 2000s.Which makes me feel apprehensive.Because when you are buying a new product you expect it to be manufactured in recent time if not please mention it in the product details.I reaaly do not know how long it will last.

Toy? Not really...
I have wanted a small inexpensive digital photo frame for some time and I couldn't make room for one in my budget. Then, last week, another online seller had one for less than $9 with free shipping. That sold me. Even if I incurred problems as I sometimes do with inexpensive products, this was no failure! I unpacked it, plugged 'er in and the sample slideshow started! As usual, I haven't read the instructions yet. I put some of the photo files that I wanted on a flash drive, added a mp3 for the music, plugged the flash drive in and away it went. Beautiful! I thought that the picture area would be smaller based on the description from the source. Here's the size of the picture: 7-1/2"x4-1/2". A nice size for me since I'm using it as a personal picture frame. A bonus is the music. Put any mp3 on the memory source and it'll play without any set up. The small remote works fine. The controls on the frame are on the back at the top... easy to see and reach. Also there are three "frames"... take your pick! I've had it going for about three hours now and the screen is slightly warm. Nothing is hot. The "plug in" stand holds it steady. Not a single thing that I can say about it is not perfect. I wouldn't consider this a toy. Sure, your kids will enjoy it but so will you! This would make a great gift and won't break the bank. Highly recommended!August 13. 2012 Update: I left the frame on around the clock so I could enjoy my pictures whenever I wanted. Then, two nights ago, I heard an awful "crashing " noise. I thought something had fallen and checked the whole house! Then, I happened to notice that my digital picture frame was dark. I attempted to turn it on and nothing... then I noticed an "electrical" smell. I unplugged to transformer and re-plugged it to a different outlet. I had it on a surge protector with several other devices. When I re-plugged it, it still didn't turn on. It no longer functions. Could that be the reason these were on sale for $8.87? I don't know if the transformer failed or maybe it took the picture frame with it. Now I need to find a better digital picture frame.

Can't delete "sample photos" from my personal collage
Been working with this frame all afternoon, and no matter how many times I program it to play photos from the flash drive, it continues to pull in all of the sample photos loaded into the frame. No where, anywhere, can I figure out how to delete this file! I am sooo frustrated!
