This is the real mccoy, not a fake imposter
Found out my new-to-me RV had these great inflate through the cap valve caps when I was at the tire dealer and asked for a pressure check and top up. All my tires had these except for one, which inexplicably had a conventional tire valve cap. So off to Amazon to find these. After much inspection, like a lot of the oddities you go looking for on the Internet and find at Amazon, there are numerous makers of fill through tire caps, most of them Chinese imposters of the real thing with quality ranging from excellent to atrocious, and online reviews dubious at ferreting out the bad from the good. The Alligator inflate through valve stem caps are the genuine, German made, original product. Each valve cap has a great weight, solid construction, clearly marked with the brand name and Germany on the side. The inside of each valve cap has precisely machined and assembled components, sure to work as expected for a lifetime, or as long as you can keep them on your rig, especially after having tires replaced.Stick with the genuine and original and purchase Alligator brand inflate through valve stem caps.

Great valve caps for those on the go who check their tires ...
I bought these because of good reviews from others. Replaced standard plastic caps that came with car, one of which had gone missing. I have one tire that slowly loses air. Instead of spending 6 or 7 dollars for 4 slightly better looking metal caps, I spent a bit more for a dozen high-quality German valve caps that save you time and aggravation when filling tires at an air station or at home with your own air system. I just tested them at the local station and filled all four tires to 35 PSI without removing caps ... beautiful, and in record time. No cap removal, just put the air hose on and bam, done! They look great, all metal, very high quality, very polished ... a tad longer of course, but nothing weird looking, maybe another quarter inch of length. I LOVE 'em ... never thought I'd be so stoked over such a small thing. Best of all, I've got more for my wife's SUV now that I know they work. This is one of those small items you just fall in love with! Don't even think about it if you don't need caps that look a skull or whatever else floats your boat. These should also work on anything else with a standard valve core, like a bike or motorcycle.

BIG TIME SAVER for Such a Little Gizmo!
Never heard of these before someone in one of my FaceBOOK RV groups mentioned them. What a wonderful little time saver. Gives "one less excuse" for not checking tires (more) regularly. Until I installed and used these the first time, I had NO IDEA how great they are. Not having to unscrew, then re-seat traditional valve caps, makes a huge difference-- especially considering some of my old blue valve caps were stripped, although I was so careful not to strip the threads after taking the air pressures. Guess what? No more concern about all that-- just screw V2Bs in place, and that's the LAST time, in a long time, you'll have to remove them. P.S. V2B makes it ESPECIALLY easy when accessing the valve stems on the inside rear dually tires. Takes just SECONDS now to check all 6 tires. Wow. Makes this "chore" kinda fun, now. Who'd a thought?

These are great! I have 3 ATV's
These are great! I have 3 ATV's, 2 side by sides, one buggy, a tractor, and two trailers. I was tired of some tires 'leaking air' but found several times it was the valve core where you fill the tires with air, they sometimes stick or get dirty and slowly leak. Local tire dealer gave me some of these metal valve caps, they have a rubber o ring inside, and they seal even if the valve core leaks, and you can check tire pressure or put in air with these metal caps on, and they don't have a cap to have to take off then put back on every time you check or fill with air like with 'normal' valve stems, these just screw on like you would the valve stem caps. I have 26 of them on almost everything that moves, never had another 'leak' these are fantastic!

I love these little caps.
They absolutely do what they are meant to. You protect the valve stem but you don't have to fiddle with little rubber caps when you are checking the air or filling the tires.I did have to point out the features to the local instant oil change person, he diligently was taking off the caps to check my tires. He though it was pretty cool when I explained he didn't have to touch them.

Very affordable product that makes it SO easy to keep tire pressure right to save on gas and tire ware.
These work great - bought a second box after seeing how well the first set work since I have 5 cars. I am using it on one vehicle that has the pressure monitor system and has not been an issue. Nice material and solves one other issues on one of the cars where a traditional gas station filling air system would not reach past the plastic hub cab on nieces car so these extend out making it a cinch for us to fill now. Very affordable product that makes it SO easy to keep tire pressure right to save on gas and tire ware.

Way less expensive than replacing short TPMS valve stems
We bought a used car which the dealer put new tires on. I suspect they replaced the TPMS valve stems, with, what I strongly suspect were shorter than the original stems. They were short enough I could barely get the valve caps off (without dropping them) and had a tough time getting a good seal on a tire pressure gauge. Mostly I had to pop the hubcaps / covers off before I was done. Doesn't help that I'm getting a little arthritic.I was looking for short extenders, but I came across these and gave them a shot. I would estimate they added a little over 1/2", enough they clear the cover but not so long as to be vulnerable if my wife scuffs a curb.I was a little concerned that I could not put the vale caps back on - different thread - but I read the description again (and comments) and I gather these are intended that you no longer need caps. I tried to get a close up of the business end, so you can see that there is a relatively large spring-loaded "hatch". Quite different than the typical Schrader valve with a small center pin and a relatively large void surrounding it to collect all manner of road crud.I've not had them long but they work great so far and I really like the design. I suppose if you're worried about dirt, a quick wipe across the tip might alleviate that concern. So far mine have stayed quite clean even on our salty roads this time of year. I'm now content not to deal with caps ... and I have enough to put them on a second car.
