Since the recent new pricing on many of the items that I purchase, I had decided to start looking for cheaper versions or dupes of what I would normally buy. I tend to go for the prestige brands because that’s just me and I just feel like quality is very important to me, especially for my skin. So when my favorite make up remover skyrocketed and extra $13 when it was already 20 some dollars I decided I was not paying that price anymore. So I just got on Amazon and searched makeup remover balm, and this is the one that popped up. It had tons of positive reviews and once I received this product, I will say it’s a huge jar, like this particular makeup remover which I’ve never heard of this brand ever in my life, but this particular makeup remover is very very good. I mean the amount that you get for the price you pay is amazing. I was sold immediately on the size like literally sold once I use this make up remover, which is a solid clear type of balm, and you take it a little bit out and you rub it in your hand and rub it on your face and it turns into like a oil base and you don’t even need to use water, you can just take like one of those make up towels and wipe it off but what I tend to do is I will put the balm in my hand, let it melt 1st, then rub it on my face and take some makeup wipes, and take off the ointment off. I will do that about three times and then I will follow up with a liquid cleanser, so I double cleanse, whenever I wear makeup. I do not take off my eye makeup with this bomb as I use a liquid eye makeup remover for my eyes only. I will continue to repurchase this over and over and over again, so glad I found this. Definitely saving me some money. Wish I had known about this product years ago.

I was reading on a book about keeping youthful skin and Albolene popped up. I may have seen it before in a grocery store and took a pass on it because I didn’t know the proper use for it and had other facial cleansers I knew better. I love using clay and Albolene does more than take off makeup, it removes clay as well from your skin so cleanup has been a breeze. Many cosmetics have earth based ingredients that Albolene is noted for being very good at cleaning up as well as fine particles. So between a nice skin glow and a quick cleanup I would buy another tub of Albolene next year when I run out.

I've been using this product for 50 years now and I love it but I wish they would make a smaller size more available. It takes so long to use it all that I worry about bacteria. I often use a bacteria fighting wet wipe to clean the top portion. I love you Albolene cream❤️I hope you see this request for a smaller size😊Signed~The Germaphobe😷

This is a Balm you use a warm washcloth or wipe to remove. If you try to rinse it ,will not come off like soap. It's very good. Price is nice and your face will love it.

You will be glad to know nothing has changed. It's the same mineral oily business I remember from days gone by. It's a bit of work to get all of it off! If you are trying to get some heavy duty makeup off, it's a good first pass. I think in the future I will try coconut oil.

Came across this strolling through Amazon. I am so glad I found it. Melts your makeup off without any harsh wiping. Doesn't leave any kind of film on your face afterwards either and the price is Fantastic!

I saw a video with Jacqueline Smith of the original Charlie’s Angels and she stated she uses this every night even though she has a beauty line I had to get it to try it. I use it at night and wake up looking refreshed. It is kind of like Vaseline with similar ingredients but not as thick and greasy. Try it and see for yourself!
