Great Suitcase For The Money!!!
The Samsonite Freeform Carry-On Spinner is an excellent suitcase that combines lightweight design, smooth mobility, and practical storage in a compact carry-on size. One of its biggest strengths is how light it feels, making it easy to lift into overhead bins and transport through airports without adding unnecessary weight to your trip. The spinner wheels roll effortlessly in every direction, allowing the suitcase to glide smoothly across airport terminals, hotel lobbies, and sidewalks. Even when fully packed, it remains easy to maneuver and requires very little effort to push or pull. Its compact size is another major advantage. The Freeform fits comfortably in most airline overhead compartments while still providing plenty of packing space for clothing, shoes, and travel essentials. The expandable design offers additional room when needed, making it a great choice for both short weekend trips and longer vacations. The durable hard-shell exterior helps protect belongings during travel, and the built-in TSA-approved lock adds extra security and peace of mind. Combined with its sleek appearance and reliable performance, the Freeform is a carry-on that delivers outstanding value.

This luggage rated well and the price is budget friendly!
We haven’t checked it in with an airline yet. But I was surprised how much room the medium size FreeForm has for packing. Depending how disciplined of a packer you are I think it is plenty of room for 1 person. It is also lightweight which I think will make it easier for lifting at the airport. My only complaint is that more thorough instructions about the locking system are not provided. However you can do an Internet search and find helpful information. Additionally, I did some Google Gemini (AI) research and found that the FreeForm luggage consistently was among the top contenders in the rating articles I read. Also, it is budget friendly so that I was able to buy 2 so my spouse has his own bag.

A Samsonite Saga: A Family Affair
I don't typically review products immediately after purchase. I prefer to use them extensively to form a truly honest opinion. This Samsonite Freeform 2-piece set, purchased back in August, has now been put through its paces and has proven to be an exceptional travel companion (for someone other than myself, though!). Let me explain: I purchased this Samsonite Freeform Hardside Expandable 2-Piece Set with my daughter in mind, as she was about to embark on her year-long study abroad adventure. Needing a new carry-on myself, I decided to invest in this bundle. The price was surprisingly affordable for Samsonite, so I opted for the stylish navy color. The moment I laid my hands on these suitcases, I was impressed by their lightweight design. Despite their spacious interiors, they feel surprisingly light when fully packed. The smooth-rolling spinner wheels glide effortlessly, making navigating busy airports a breeze. The expandable feature is a game-changer, allowing for extra packing space. The built-in TSA-approved locks provide peace of mind. The interior compartments are well-designed, making packing and unpacking a breeze. The telescopic handle is sturdy and extends smoothly, making it easy to maneuver the suitcase. Unfortunately, my joy was short-lived. My daughter, smitten with the Samsonite's sleek design and effortless maneuverability, claimed my carry-on as her own. She justified her theft by claiming she needed it for her frequent weekend trips. I guess she couldn't exactly "find herself" without a stylish suitcase! While I initially mourned the loss of my beloved carry-on, I can't deny the quality and functionality of Samsonite luggage. Overall, the Samsonite Freeform Hardside Expandable 2-Piece Set is a fantastic investment for frequent travelers. If you're looking for luggage that can withstand the test of time and make your travels more enjoyable, I highly recommend this set. Just be prepared to defend your luggage from family members who may have a sudden case of "luggage envy."

Great carryon!
I bought one (carry-on size) for myself and then went back to get another one for my husband. Easily the best carry-ons we have owned so far. Lightweight, sturdy, wheels roll great. Very spacious inside. We just took them for a trip (and checked them in), and they both arrived just fine. Yes they got scratched (lightly), but I wouldn't expect them to stay scratch free unless you don't use them at all. I have only used it once so can't speak for whether or not it will hold up for multiple trips, but I don't see why not. Not sure if the carryon size will be accepted by international airlines since it is a bit bigger, but domestically it shouldn't be an issue. By the way, I bought "used-like new" option from Amazon Resale instead of the new option, and you wouldn't tell! It arrived in a slightly damaged/opened box, but everything was still new inside (all the tags and such). I usually buy "used" items to save money, and Amazon hasn't disappointed! :)

Excellent carry on suitcase for travel
Excellent suitcase! I bought it to take to Europe for a 3 week vacation and it held up perfectly. I only wanted a carry on because we were going to take trains too. It was the perfect suitcase to take. It went through all the abuse of the airports the trains the stairs and the cobble streets of Europe and my over stuffing it with clothes. The wheels held up too. I highly recommend it.

Sturdy and easy to pack! Happy!
I bought this suitcase to replace my red soft sided Samsonite. I wanted to try out a hard sided case, and I researched hard sided cases thoroughly, along with the newer soft sided ones just to compare. I didn’t see anything superior with soft sided, although I do have a newer 20” purple TravelPro that I adore. Ultimately I was between this one, the Amazon basics hardside, Delsey Chatelet, and Samsonite Omni PC and Winfield 2. This one was rated in most top 5’s. The suitcase rated best on most lists was the hardside models from the company Away, but they are above my price range. I also read the reviews here on Amazon. The Omni PC and Winfield are both beautiful, but the Omni has an inferior plastic top handle that breaks easily, and the Winfield’s glossy case seems to scratch easily. I ultimately decided on this one due to color and pricing. The Amazon basics suitcase is rated well for the price, but unfortunately I really don’t like the looks of it. The Delsey Chatelet is gorgeous, but has limited color choices and is slightly pricier. I also considered the Delsey Paris Helium Air and TravelPro Maxlite Air, which are great looking, but both were not rated well, mostly for sturdiness issues. I loved this suitcase when it came! I like that the shell is matte, and shouldn’t scratch, and the whole shell is sturdy, has lots of pockets and we’ll working zippers, expands, and has a TSA lock. Empty it was very light and the wheels maneuvered easily and seemed sturdy. Packing this thing is awesome to me in comparison to my soft shells. It does need to open completely flat to access both sides, but I didn’t mind that at all throughout my trip. It’s so easy with the two sides - I put clothing in packing cubes in one side, and care case and all other items in the other half. One half zips close completely with a material cover, and the other has the standard suitcase clips. It also has a few different pockets. I was able to fit everything I needed with ease for a 7-day trip. It doesn’t flex quite as much as a soft shell, but I actually found that to be an advantage - it doesn’t allow you to overpack. I checked this suitcase round trip on a weeklong trip to Florida, and it held up beautifully. I didn’t notice any damage to the case, and it’s so light and easy to maneuver. It rolled with ease in the airport and out on the street. It goes up curbs without a hitch, and is easy on escalators. It has a sturdy handle on top and on the side. Zippers are holding up great so far. I can’t see myself buying another soft sided suitcase if this holds up for awhile. I love it!! The only thing I can’t rate it on is longevity, as I’ve only taken it on one trip. I’d like to say “I’ll update if this review changes, but we all know that won’t happen!” :)

Great product, but be mindful of the dimensions
The 21" suitcase is a great product. We've used it for over 6 months and are very satisfied with our purchase. It's easy to keep clean, it rolls smoothly, it is lightweight, and it allows for efficient packing. It is great for domestic travel as both a checked bag and a carry-on. HOWEVER, I'm giving this 4-stars because the dimensions are not accurate to what’s listed in the pictures on Amazon nor on the product tag. The suitcase body height is 21" (20.5", as listed), but with the wheels the total height is closer to 23", which might be a problem for use as a carry-on on an international flight. On a recent flight with Air Canada, we were forced to check the bag because it didn't fit in the size tester at check-in. Numerous other international airlines have similar restriction, so just be mindful of this if you're looking for a true 21" suitcase.

UPDATE: Handles is way too thin and weak for a heavy suitcase. Bought both medium and large
Update: originally this was a 5 star review, but I wish I could reduce it 1.5 stars. I traveled with the medium suitcase from my home to the airport, checked it in, then to my Airbnb. The FIRST thing I recognized the moment I got to the airport was the handle is not sturdy. It’s very thin in comparison to the suitcase and compared to other luggage. My suitcase was only half packed and the handle felt like it was going to break when I tilted my luggage and pulled it. On my way home, my suitcase was packed, and although it never broke, I had to often pull my suitcase with two hands while not tilting because it simple was not sturdy. I actually had to push it instead of walking it by my side because the handle just sucks. I had a heavy duffel on top of it and it really sucked to have to wheel with it. I used Away before and the handle bars are thick and crazy strong with you tilt and roll. You could put heavy duffels on top with no issue. This case, when fully packed there was no way I was going to tilt it. The exterior and interior is perfect. It packs SO much clothing. The expand feature is so helpful. It really is just the handlebar, which is a huge deal imo. My case cleaned off easy and it looks brand new. It got one scuff, not bad, but Away never scuffed. I wouldn’t buy it again because that’s how weak I feel the handle bars are. I wish I could return it. It’s cute tho Original review: I really am happy with this luggage, BUT I haven’t used it yet, so that will be the true test. I bought an Away medium case a few years ago and these feel so much better in my opinion. I think the Away shell might be harder, but I love the look of these and the quality feels pretty on par if not better. I bought the medium 24inch and 28inch. You can see my pics for comparison. Although it’s only a 4 inch difference on paper , it feels and looks way different. 28 inch is big! Def can fit a good months worth of clothing. I’m a light traveler, but want to shop with I travel and I think the medium would do just fine for that. If when I travel and have a bad experience, I’ll come back and rewrite this review. This review is initial impressions. Really love how they look, the rolling feels nice, and the inside is very spacious. I bought some color straps that really make it pop too!

Perfect IF only it was dirt proof. Lol
I love this set and I love white but then obviously it easily gets dirty. Would’ve been perfect if it’s dirt proof. Lol kidding aside, durability and baggage capacity is superb.

Worth every penny
Samsonite cabin luggage honestly one of the best travel purchases I’ve made. The suitcase feels sturdy without being too heavy, and the spinner wheels glide smoothly even through crowded airports. The handle is solid, the zippers feel premium, and the interior has enough compartments to keep everything organized.Love the colour
