All the biggest were covered in black dirt and a tar-like substance that couldn’t be cleaned up or consumed so about half of the bag is not fit for consumption.The bigger bits that didn’t have black slick on them were rock hard and inedible. I think this is a marketing ploy where they have only a small percentage of the whole bag that’s good edible terra cotta flavored bits but the rest is deliberately inedible.

I love these. It's exactly what I would think clay pots would be like. Hardened, dried up mud basically. It taste super earthy and like dirt.Has a good crunch; Although I like super hard and crunchy like ice, these were still decently crunchy and doesn't turn pasty. I like taking small bites though so I'm not sure if it would turn pasty with bigger bites maybe.

Why is this item always unavailable, I have purchased over 10 times. But have to check almost daily to see if this product is available. I love the earthy crunchy taste.

I loved the crunchy, earthy flavor!!!! It does not stick to your gums. I finished my bag and would love to buy some more. Please bring this product back!!!
