My best friend having the weird habit of snuff chewing from his grand father. It makes him suffering with GERD. He uses max 6 pouches of snuff per day. I lost my patience towards him by advising him which was in vain coz he tried quitting but failed 3 times. I'm here to thank Cipla company. It is one of the best method to quit tobacco addiction. He uses only 2 pouches per day which is a miracle to him. It is only one week, From the 2nd week he decided to use 1 pouch per day. From 3rd week, decided to order 7-14mg for 2 weeks. Coz it does really works. Clean the area before apply coz sometimes it didn't stick well. Apply it in less hair area. At day 1st he said its itching and having weird dreams. No feeling of nausea or headaches no migraines till now. I googled how much nicotine does 1 snuff pouch have, its 12 mg then 12*6 = 72 mg/ (which is equal to 80 cigarettes) he intakes everyday that's y he still using 2 pouches. But I don't know about cigarettes, I never smoked. Day by day he is gaining control over his cravings which doesn't make him lose his temper as before. Yes, it is costly. But health comes as first priority. Don't apply it on the same place daily. When started itching it means begins to work. Itching will diminish slowly. No allergic reaction. To Long time tobacco addicters, this is the best option for quitting. No side effects till now. Unlike gum which giving jaw pain, it is painless. It is small in size but its working as miracle for those who want to quit. At first I too thought how it's possible but after watched him keenly, this product deserves heavy advertisement to make aware for needy peoples and should be available in all medical pharmacies. Best decision ever in your life 😊 Edit: Update Jan 23/23: Review about 14mg (This below ans is in my Friend's POV who really using this) 1st week of using 14 mg nearly took 2 days to adapt with the body for decreasing dose from 21mg to 14 mg. It is the best option for quit the smoking /chew tobacco habit in this 14mg session coz when u go to 7mg there u feel what really craving is. I really doubt sometimes "is there really nicotine present in the 7mg patches?" I don't want to demotivate anyone at the same time I really had to tell what I felt that might be very useful for someone like me. But I have to stick it coz I have ordered 2 packs of 7mg and can't quit the habit within 21 mg or 14 mg. One important thing is this 7mg really remembers the craving and urge u to go back to smoking that what Iam really afraid of. If u really had to quit don't ever smoke 1 cigarette /tobacco product while stick 7 mg its up to your will power. I must overcome the craving and continue the step3. Will update...

Expensive, but works. Able to stop a 4 year long smoking addiction after 3 weeks of using the patch. It's not magical, it just makes it much easier to quit smoking.

Positive aspects : 1)Helps in craving control. 2)Reduces chance to relapse. 3)Easy to apply and works effectively for 24 hours Negative aspects : 1) Requires awareness about nicotine replacement otherwise one will end up taking nicotine higher than the addiction ! 2) Causes reactionary Gastrointestinal disturbances if replacement patch applied for long ( only when patch nicotine :cigarettes nicotine goes up ) # Overall, under observation it can work effectively.

It comes off within an hour of applying it. First I thought maybe I'm applying it wrong, but even after followed the suggestion thoroughly and applying it on my arm area as shown in the guide, saw the same result. Worst of all, there's no replacement or return policy for the product. Avoid buying this and go for better brand/product

I ordered nikotex patches since I was wanted to quit smoking but I wasn’t aware about the discomforts. I applied the patch on my left arm. Sat in my car. Left for job. After exactly 15 minutes. My left arm was swollen. My heart beat got slower. I wasn’t able to breath middle of the traffic jam I was helpless My whole body was sweating. My head was spinning I was feeling like vomiting what not. Immediately I grabbed some water bottles. Fruity to maintain my blood pressure normal. I would recommend everyone if someone is heavy smoker smokes more than 15 cigarettes a day. They should start with 2mg nicotine patch. Not 21mg that’s not for indian smokers. Also when you have nothing to do during day time. Apply that patch n get rested at home. Definitely my urge for smoke was immediately gone. But it’s not for people who smoke 15 cigarettes in a day or more. It’s for people who smoked 2,3 packets in a day.

This is my third strip from the step 1 kit. I will write in detail about my experience so that someone else could be benefited. Applying is simple and smooth, once u apply forget abt the cravings the urge doesn't last. I am a chain smoker atleast 20 in a day but until the patch is their i don't feel the urge of smoking even if i smoked i didn't felt the same pleasure. So overall a very good product. Now the things you have to be prepared of after applying patch: 1. I applied on hand, it feels like u have took a vaccination dose. Hands are stiff and painful. While sleeping it pains a lot so don't apply on the same place again try turning the position. 2. When i applied first two days it gives that burning sensation not too much but bearable. 3. After applying patch, i felt guidiness, nauseau, vomitting sensation first two days on my third day too i m feeling the same so better u take WFH or plan it before applying as i couldn't concentrate on work in office and ended up coming home and applying a stretch work from home. But trust me it's very effective. 4. I couldn't keep it and sleep at night, hands were paining when u lie down a mild nauseau which makes you feel uncomfortable, so i take out every night before an hour so that i get peaceful sleep. First day, i didn't had single smoke Second day i ditched myself and after removing i had some 5 smoke Third day i didn't applied sp it was back to the craving again Fourth day i applied again and i m better with craving. Hope this effort will not be getting wasted, must try product better then the chewing gum and tablets.
