Worth every penny
These plates are awesome!! Lots of fun on my buddies farm. It is so much better shooting steel than paper targets! I got the 8 inch 1/4 thick gongs for shooting pistol. We shot it with 9mm 22lr 357 and 45 and they help up great. They will definitely last a long time. For anyone interested I set it up using some old angle iron I found at work. Drilled a hole in the top of each piece and hammered them into the ground about 3 feet apart. Got some chain, a few threaded chain connectors, 1/2 inch bolts and nuts and strung it up. Make sure you attatch the chain to the bolt protruding out the back of the plate so it hangs at a slightly downward angle. I’ll get some pictures next time I shoot and upload.

Solid and Robust
These AR500 class targets are the standard for metal targets. Just use them at the proper distance depending on the caliber you're using, if you plan to keep them a long time. These can be painted for a fresh look after multiple hits, or place stickers on it to identify your hits, or use it as is to just to hear it ping when the round hits it. A very versatile and fun target to hang on your stand. Priced well and delivered quickly.

Holds up well
The 6” gong is great. Nice price, nice finish, good “ping”, easy to paint and holds up well against the 9mm and .22. At 30’ the gong swung quite a lot with a solid 9mm hit. I would suggest a larger one for 9mm or increase the distance. For .22 pistol (or rifle) I would say this is the perfect target.

Great Targets
These are the best steel targets for pistol shooting. Just hang them in a safe area and shoot away with your pistol. I love the loud clang and I just repaint them every year so they look new and show the hits

Love shooting these steel targets!!!
I recently started shooting steel and I have to say it is VERY addictive! I was a bit apprehensive at first because I had a mishap with shooting mild steel with a 5.56 and having to go have a mangled piece of the jacket dug out of my arm that peel of when the bullet went through the steel. That was my fault for not shooting the proper type of steel. My purchase this time consisted of a pair of 4" x 1/4" gongs and they have performed very well. I am shooting them with .22lr and .40 S&W pistols at distances as close as 7 yards and I have never had a round affect the surface of the steel. I will be buying more of these over time to setup my shooting area with many different shapes and sizes to transition between. I expect these targets will last me the rest of my life, or until I run out of paint and ammo money.

Made in USA
Exactly as described. Really like the plating. Received nice and clean and ready to paint. A worthy investment for my target range. Update: Used the targets through the winter. The targets are all 1/4 inch thick. I chose 1/4 inch because we are only using non magnum handguns. I love how they ring nice and loud and have good movement. Shot thousands of rounds at them with no damage or ware. Absolutely no rust. These will last a lifetime if used as directed. Very happy I chose to go with American steel. Well worth the investment.

Holds up to .22 fine :) doesn't really ring
I shoot this with my .22 rifles. I have it set up in a gong configuration on a homemade, collapsible frame I made from 2x3 lumber. It's fun to shoot. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't give a satisfying "Ding!" or "tink!" when the bullet hits home (like on my knock-over targets); it just goes "smack" and dances a little bit. I think this is because it's too thick and heavy, for the calibre I'm using. The weight doesn't allow it to vibrate, I guess. I've got a a 4" one too, and same thing, except that one really dances all over the place and it takes a little while for it to settle down again. But as to durability, not a scratch on the AR500 steel with my rimfire rounds.
