Works perfectly
This is the very first cloner i have owned. After years of taking cuttings the old fashioned way, I decided to do my research and the Oxycloner20 was what I decided on. It has been an absolute game changer. On my very first use i had 19 out of 20 cuttings root perfectly in only 9 days. The one cutting that died was operator error, LOL ! The second time i used the Oxycloner , i had a perfect 20 out of 20 cuttings root perfectly . Using this cloner machine has cut down on the time it takes to root and overall is much easier and less time consuming than my old school way of taking the cuttings. If you’re looking for a simple and fast way to take cuttings, I definitely recommend the Oxycloner.

Great Unit. Minor Mods Needed.
First off this unit is great for the price. You can’t really build a unit like this for the price. I’ve built dwc cloners in the past and by the time you source all the parts you end up right at the $50 mark anyhow. That being said this unit is not without a flaw. Just one flaw IMO. The water pump that’s included raises the water temp by 10 degrees. The easiest way to combat this is to just remove the water pump. Replace the air pump with a dual outlet unit ($10-15) and add another air stone. This creates plenty of turbulence and mist for your cuttings and reduces water temp which helps prevent the water from growing algae. Cloning Tip: Number your collars with a black sharpie. Then as you insert clones just write down the number and strain. This makes it easy to keep track of which clones are which so you never lose track. Tip #2: Change out your water every 7 days. Put the lid with your clones on an open empty box while swapping out the water solution. This keeps the clones moist and won’t hurt the clones while you’re swapping out the water solution. Tip #3: Fully clean the tub and lid between cloning sessions. Otherwise algae can build up and create a mess. It takes minutes to clean it out with rubbing alcohol or peroxide. Let it air out before filling and starting your next session. Tip #4: Small clear solo cups can be used for makeshift domes if you have cuttings that start to wilt. Just mist the inside of the cup and place it over top of the clone. I recommmed clear so they still get light and don’t start flowering prematurely. This unit fits perfectly into The Growing Rack that’s I use in a daily basis for indoor growing. It’s perfect. Follow me on IG @thegrowingrack or @thegrowingshop for more tips and tricks.

Perfect after Mods
Update: 10 cycles of clones, 100% success rate. Modifications: Discarded water pump, double the size of air pump, utilize cloning gel, RO water with CalMag, few drops of floramicro, silica blast, hydroguard. 60 watt full spectrum LED (cheap) fixed mounted at 30”. I used a makeshift clear cover for the first week but I found that if I clipped large leaves in half or if the clones didn’t have large leaves, the cover was not necessary for humidity retention. Plants hit 12” without adding additional water. Original Review: Compared with what others are charging for cloning units, this is perfect. Very sturdy and thick container, it’ll last forever. The only issue I had was the air pump, had to take it apart and fix it but realized it was too weak for the size of stone that was provided. I ordered one double the rate and achieved 100% success rate on my first attempt. I also used cloning gel on the plants.

80 Site Unit is a Beast
I own the 20 and 80 site units. I have given these four stars but I do not use any of the pumps or other hardware that comes with it. I needed the plastic shell so I could convert these into hybrid hydroponic/fogponic cloners. The 20 site system came with a defective air pump. I haven't tried the pumps with the larger unit but they appear to be the exact same items. They both arrived undamaged and in good condition. I have these setup with an external reservoir and a fog bucket with positive air pressure that pipes the fog into the basin. To do this, I had to cut two holes in the plastic basin shell; one for the water line going to the spray nozzles I added and another for the drain, which also serves as the fog pipe. These units do work if you use them as intended. They work pretty well. I wanted something I didn't need to lift the tray out of to add/change water. The fogger was just an addition that the cuttings love. I use indole butyric acid in liquid form for the reservoir and between the rooting hormone, the hydro sprayers and the fogger, I can get cuttings to root in as little as 5 days. I would recommend these to anyone starting out wanting to do deep water culture cuttings. They'll work out just fine. I could recommend these for anyone wanting to have a cheap starting place to build a custom cloner as well. I've rooted many cuttings, started many seeds and pretty much grown plants on this thing; sometimes they end up staying on there far too long lol. I'll try and add some pictures of the 80 site unit when I get it all settled in.

Roots in 5 to 12 Days
I'm writing this review of the Oxyclone 20 after successfully using it to clone 10 cuttings. Two different strains. One started showing roots after just 5 days. The other after 10 to 12. I'm impressed - all 10 rooted successfully. I set the PH to start and used CloneX gel on the cuttings. A few things to note: I have a small 1x2' space in my tent so I like that this is compact and fits in there well. I live in Boston and my tent is in the closet of a finished basement. Unlike some other reviews the water never got too warm or slimy. Some of my cuttings were short and did not dip into the water - didn't seem to mater the bubble splashes got to them and they rooted just fine. When it arrived the set up instructions are not clear but there are videos online that make it easy. The pump that came with the air stone was not working. I wrote customer service and they replied fast sending me a new air stone. I knew that wasn't the problem because no air was coming out of the pump. I ended up unscrewing the pump and fidgeting around with it and got it working. Now I have the extra air stone they sent as a backup. It's great that they replied quickly and wanted to fix the problem but they didn't really think it through all that well. I'm sure they would have eventually sent me a new pump if I didn't get it working myself. The suction cups for the under water pump which sticks to the side wall came loose eventually so watch out for that. Clean up involved washing everything with warm soapy water and then running the system in clean water with some hydrogen peroxide to ensure nothing was left in the pumps/air stone. Then run in clean water again to get the hydrogen peroxide out. They system is pretty simple and seems durable. Make sure you set the PH of the water when you start. I think the pumps will eventually go (one had issues from the start) but they are easy to replace on Amazon. I would recommend Oxcyclone.

Amazing cloner even with missing pieces
I have to give this three stars mine didnt come with a air pump or air stone but i also got this in a lightening deal so i couldnt really complain and once i bought the missing pieces this worked absolutely amazing and its deep as well so u can easily get some Good roots going before a transplant!!! It’s made with really tough abs plastic that very smooth inside which makes it very easy to clean and it even has a cut slit on the lid as well as the container to hide the tube thru out the back so you dont have your light beaming on the tubes which that could eventually cause bacteria build up!!! This probably one the best clone machines i ever used to honest and if your like me that loves to clones plant this is a must have!!! I absolutley love this product and wish it came with all the pieces

Best cloner ever!
Very well made! 99% success rate using all 20 slots. The one fail was attempt of a sickly cutting so not the products fault IMO. Youtube people claim 4-6 days for roots and I can agree, however it depends on strain and plant health. Of the 20 plants it was about an 11 day average for first roots. The pump does give off some heat but its not a problem if room temp is below 80. I had zero algae issues but recommend you clean and change water at least every 2 weeks (if not you will get a musty, stale, moldy smell. Only complaint would be that the blue disc inserts are not all snug fitting and can tip slightly, also the center hole can be too big for thin stems (just stuff the center piece that falls out back in it).

Great Cloner
I have this running continous for 2 months plus pumping out with 100% success rates. I dont use the pump and have 2 air stones bubbling with my own air pump... I stopped using my water chiller after I first got it but I steralize the bottom container with alcohol and change the water about every 3-4 days and clean the slime off the air hose and scrub the airstones....I also clean the plugs of any algae/slime and occassionaly clean the cover due to continous use.... I used to use root riot and a dome and I will never go back to that again.... I just love this so much im trying to get another one but the price has gone up considerably and im not willing to pay that... I figure with 2 of them on occassion that I dont have time to steralize or im lazy I can just use the clean one and swap it....

Roots every single time, without fail!
It definitely works, you might want to upgrade the air pump and air stones as it's a little weak, but, it is sufficient to get the job done as is. If the temps are cold I use the water pump to heat, the recirculation is not needed if you upgrade the air pump and stones... Small compact unit, little pricey for what it is but it's small, sleek, effective and comes with everything needed right out of the box.. Anyone claiming it doesn't work is using it wrong, not sure how? I've rooted hundreds of clones through it, out of them all maybe 4 or 5 didn't root. Maybe you have too much light?, cutting from unhealthy plants or are putting too many nutes in the water. Just tap water and a quick dip of Clonex or any other rooting hormone is all I use. Could I have built it myself for cheaper? Absolutely! I don't want a ghetto looking tub, give me convenience or give me death! Typically 14 days for decent roots, root bumps form within 3-5 days.

Great product I’m a huge fan !
Very easy to use and set up no more messy peat pellets or rooting plugs best cloning device I have seen . The collars are very easy to use and set . I liked this product so much I bought 3 . High percentage of success 90% or better so far even during hot weather !you don’t even need to spritz the leaves with water . Just set it and forget it 10-14 days and vigorous roots appear !

so far so good but after a day or so the suction cups come loose
The thing works, after about 10-14 days roots start to appear, instead of rooting gel i added a bit of mild starting nutes. No problem with the air pump, it seems good quality and not very loud. I could never get the suction cups on the water pump to hold, but found that just hanging the water pump in there, upside-down seems to work fine. Don't need a dome over it.

produit cheap

Brilliant
My hon was doubtful about this working, but figured he would give it a try and he's so happy that he did! It works brilliantly, way better than his old system of cloning with much better results. Would highly recommend.
