Life-changing!
I bought the original Trtl, and not only loved it, but by example encouraged several friends to buy one. Apart from the obvious air travel use, as someone who has to professionally sit doing nothing while others work around you (in the film business) it allows you to nap comfortably in a chair. Travelling long distances by car, bus or train is no longer a neck-straining, head-nodding experience. The nw Trtl is even better than the original. Well done, guys! I cannot recommend this life-changing device strongly enough.

Not as good as the classic version for smaller people
I ordered both this version and the classic kids version of this “pillow” to choose which one fit me best for my upcoming trip. I’m 5’4” and have a fairly tall but thin neck. The classic kids one was super comfy and soft at the right height for my neck. But the plus was really large and not cozy or soft at all. From the very start it felt off and was chafing against the side of my face and chin. It’s true that the plastic brace is covered by a more pillowy type material than the classic version, but it’s not very squishy like a pillow and the fabric that covers is isn’t soft like the fleece that covers the classic version. In summary: if you are not a large person, this isn’t the right travel pillow for you. But the classic version might be. If you are a large person, you need to decide whether the height adjustability outweighs the less cozy material around the plastic support.

Proper neck support.
I used this on a 12 hour overnight flight (in economy) and arrived feeling rested after 7 hours sleep. Once you have adjusted it to suit you it properly supports your neck - no head rolling to wake you and no neck ache when you wake up. It is also smaller than other neck pillows, so easy to carry. BTW I never write reviews but I was very impressed by this product - I would definitely recommend it.

Over designed, claustraphobic and uncomfortable
I thought this would be an excellent upgrade to the original Trtl neck support pillow, which my daughter loves. I found this one uncomfortable, suffocating and overly complicated. Not at all a worthwhile buy. The Original design was simple and effective for travel, this I do not recommend. Based upon the first model, I bought two, thinking there would be improvement, but instead a complete waste of money. I didn't get on with using it while travelling long haul and reverted to a memory foam neck crescent. Very disappointed.

Loved it, but it's not for everyone
I took to this straight away once I had adjusted it to fit properly. I found it worked for me much better that the usual cheap squishy pillow things. I genuinely got about 6 hours sleep on an overnight flight recently for the first time ever. But one or two people I know (including my wife) just didn't get on with the fit and found it a bit claustrophobic and fiddly to use - plus you do look like someone suffering from a neck injury! The only negatives for me are (i) it can get a bit warm, and (ii) it is pretty expensive. I was touch and go about buying it due to the cost but am pleased that I did in the end.

Pretty good. Room for innovation.
I like the concept, it definitely puts pressure on your neck so you can stay upright but I did feel the other side of my neck being strained. It was quite fiddly to get the right support on the plane, different planes have different head supports and I found this pushing on the neck support at times. That said, on a Qatar flight the head support can be bent around both sides of your head, I used one side only and the neck support on the other which was supportive and stopped my neck from straining. It's definitely worth a buy if you need more support than what the usual neck pillows give you (none!). I'd like the under neck support to be smaller so I can tuck it under my chin, I realise this means you cant have a universal left or right flexibility but the gap between my shoulder and lower rear head is bigger than the one between my cheek/chin and collar bone. I found the support sitting above my chin a little or when retracted to slip under, my neck becoming strained.

Initial impressions are impressive
Only just received the two pillows so not tested them yet. Being adjustable is an excellent idea as my wife's neck and mine are quite different! but they adjust to fit us both - well done. They are so different to other travel pillows they will take a little practice to get it right but I am confident they will do the job - build quality is excellent.

not as good as were hoping
have tested on 2x 2hr flights. Usually fall asslep once the flight is in early morning but were struggle with this pillow. Looks fantastic, the memory foam support is fantastic. Heard opinion that will suit taller people (im 180cm) and did not find this comfortable at all. Were fine for first 5 minutes and then getting pain on the shoulder, so have switched the pillow to other side... the same results. Tried several positions with adjusting front or back of the pillow. I dont mind that the scarf were tigh around my neck... you get used to that after a while but the neck support were not as comfortable as I wish. Have returned mine as have tested many other pillows and this one were definatelly not for me
