I had looked at several magnifier lamps and this one caught my eye as it had a larger 5 inch lens, where most had a 4 inch lens. When I got it unboxed, I tried it out and it worked great. I piddle around with wood carving and the larger lens and ring light made a huge difference in doing detail work. I was able to see my cut lines much easier and clearer, so the overall carving looked so much better. If you do more detail work, you will certainly appreciate the larger size of the lens. I needed a magnifying light for jewelry work. I knew I wanted a glass magnifier because plastic scratches and yellows. I ordered a different one, said it was glass and 20x magnify. I got it and it was plastic, descr was wrong, and I sent it back. The 20x was barely enough. I know manf use different scales but I was still worried ordering this one. All I can say is Wow. It does a much better job than the other even though the stated magnify power is lower. The lenes is clear, The light bright and adjustable plus you can change the color. I have it clamped on a thin glass table top and it is sturdy. I have no problems with it drooping and the connections all have tightening screws in case it loosens over time. I just got it today but I like it so much I wanted to write this review. If my opinion changes I will update this. I am super happy with how well I can see my jewelry. I need to make sure each clasps is completely closed so nothing falls apart down the line. Even a tiny gap can create problems. The glass lenes is plenty big for what I am doing.

If I could give 4.5 stars I would but that option is not there. I bought this one to replace a 30 year old light I had where the switch had failed. This new one is not as good as that 30 yo light. Fortunately I have a friend who is good at electrics and fabricating and he fixed the old light. This Lancosc was a good interim light. I still use for another less important purpose. It would help a lot if the on/off switch was on the light head not in line

I’ve painted Littlest Pet Shop Toys miniatures for years. I have owned almost every kind of magnifying light you can think of and none of them compare to how AWESOME this one is! I’m so happy with my purchase and I can deff tell this will be a game changer for me! I couldn't put down my project last night until it was finished! I can’t tell you how long that has been for me. Super motivating. Very sturdy and I love the fact that there’s a two adjustable (actually, 3 if you count the one by the ring itself. :D) it isn’t hard to turn either. I’m excited and super inspired for my art again. Thanks for an awesome product!

Debes aprender a ver por medio de ella. Para mirar letras pequeñas, piezas pequeñas etc está bien., para leer libros, documentos y esas cosas, me parece que se necesita algo más flexible

I like this product a lot. It seems to be made a bit sturdier and the light selections help a lot. The magnification is good without making things out of focus. I would buy again.

It was a little heavier than I expected but otherwise it works very well and serves the purpose.
