PRODUCT: These IRONTITE drop bolts for gates are heavy duty. The drop down bolt works by holding the handle and moving manually. The galvanised gate bolt is 16mm diameter making these garage door bolts heavy duty. USES: This IRONTITE galvanised drop bolt is most commonly used as a garage door bolt, or garden gate bolt. The drop latch fits onto the back of the gate and secures into the floor using the slide bolt. Once the gate lock is down the gate cannot be opened from the opposite side, making this sliding lock ideal for garage / barn doors. FITTING: This IRONTITE sliding bolt comes complete with matching screws. These garage door bolts are surface mounted making fitting very simple with basic DIY skills. The brackets can be adjusted to suit your gate and gap from the floor.
