Width of the keys? I'm wondering about the length of the keyboard saying 32" on the gx61 and only an inch less at 31" for the 49.

The length of my Nektar GX61 is 38" overall with a total key width of 33"... Each key is 27/32" according to my tape measure. There's about a 1/8" gap between the white keys.

Can i use this with garageband for ios out of the box?

yes, if you have the adapter, lightning to midi

Are the keys hammer action? Do they emulate the tactile feedback of an acoustic piano at all? And are they velocity sensitive?

It is synth action. I doesn't feel like an acoustic piano at all. Only 88 key midi controllers with hammer actions feel like pianos.

I've seen this listed as having synth key action, but here in the q&a someone said the keys are weighted. Which is it? semi-weighted or organ/synth?

It's light synth action. I would not consider this semi-weighted, although the keys appear that way. It's very playable.
