Exactly what I needed
Got this capture card on a really good sale and it was worth it. Took me five minutes to set everything up on OBS for a YouTube stream and there was no lag at all on my Windows 11 laptop. I can stream all the cool games on my Pandora boxes! Did two streams of the Sailor Moon SuperS fighting game with it and the capture card ran smoothly. No hiccups. It even kept going when my Pandora crashed and still let me record!

Best bang for the buck
I purchased this specifically to play my Switch on my laptop screen. Was staying with inlaws while house shopping, and wanted a screen bigger than the Switch screen to enjoy my gaming sessions for longer periods of time. The only complaint I have is that it fits very loosely into the hdmi port... and the first time I set the laptop down, the hdmi plug on the device bent. I bent it back, but have to be very careful when using it. Overall, it did the trick at a good price. Very satisfied.

It works, but quality isn't the greatest.
I've found that the sharpness is not quite 1080p, despite it being able to encode 1080p. It's still great for the price, but there is definitely better stuff out there, especially if you are using this for something where sharpness matters. It could be user error, but it also only records audio in mono rather than stereo. I've tried many different settings to change things, but no dice.

For a starting set up highly recommend!!
As an introductory Piece of kit to get you into streaming it is definitely worth it. The picture quality does not go past 720p on the nintendo switch however still is usable for most games. The actual software it recommends to download is not worth it however you're better off just using stream labs obs instead of regular obs. If you don't you will get a sound delay and an input delay.

Top value for the money!
I've been using it with a Nikon Z7 for Zoom calls (1080p 24~60fps) for over a year now (~3 full days a week) without any issues whatsoever!Works with both my Asus laptop and workstation PC (both running windows 10/pro).Latency is minimal with no dropped frames.Highly recommended especially as it cost me a fraction of what other brand would have (purchased for about 15$ back then).

very good
I honestly love it. its very easy to use. good quality I just had some heavy delay time on it but i'm pretty sure, 100% that's because of my computer but yeah other than that this device is very good

great for beginner game streaming
This card is very good for streaming from my Nintendo switch. It has a few drawbacks, however. It doesn’t have audio as far as I know, and if you set the encoding too high in OBS the video tears. I’m running a Dell Optiplex 790, so this may just be an old PC problem. I’ve had no trouble with the card itself, and am very satisfied with my purchase. If you struggle with video tearing, especially during streaming, try reducing your output aspect ratio one or two levels. The video looks about the same and you can get better frames from it.
