4.5 rounded up to 5Honestly it’s only a 4.5 because compared to the rest of the series this is probably my least favourite.Meet the Vega Twins. This book got me hooked! I’ve read it a few times now and each time I pick up new snippets.If you haven’t picked this series up yet please do! And don’t forget to fasten your seatbelts.The vega twins grew up in the mortal realm and have just discovered they are actually fae. On top of that they are the long lost princesses. On top of that their parents were the last reigning monarchs and did such a terrible job it caused a revolt and now the kingdom is ruled by a council. Oh and at the academy the sisters are being sent to reside the heirs - the 4 guys destined to take over their parents positions ruling the kingdom.This is a dark bully romance and it’s a tough read. You’ll hate the guys and love the girls and possibly fall for one vampire professor.This series is a rollercoaster and honestly has left me an emotional wreck again and again. It’s absolutely brilliant.

All of the stars...all of them... like 100 out of 5!!!Sorry but l've found my new obsession! This is either going to be my second or my first fav series of all time! I believe there's 12 books in this seriesCheck any trigger warnings - there is bullying in this!Ok, where to start - at the beginning - it dives straight into it. No boring parts, no huge amounts of info dumps or build ups or head blagging. A nice pace straight into the story; I was hooked immediately.The pace and intrigue kept up throughout, never bored and I couldn't put the book down. I finished it within 24 hours and when I wasn't reading it, I was thinking about it 🫣I need to know more! The way the world is built, the magic system, the Orders...everything...I need more, which is why I can't wait for the second book to arrive.I'm incredibly impatient about this 😳🤣The 2 twin FMCs Tory and Darcy are great characters, love the differences in their characters and how each one is tackling their own issues and ways of dealing with their new found fae heritage.The bullying side of things is doing all kinds of roller coaster things to me because I was badly bullied at school...so be very aware of that before reading!There is bit of 🌶️ but not loads and a lot of angst, tension and suspense.It’s like Hogwarts for adults! 🔥🔥🔥

hmm - this book has been so hyped up and I've been enjoying romantasy and dark romance so thought I'd give a try. There was a solid plot with great world-building, but the writing fell a little short and felt more like middle grade drama than something that was supposed to be new adult. I've been told the series improves, but I'll be needing a break before I attempt more.

I'm now obsessed with this world, yes there's non consent (non sexual) but that's what you get with a bully romance, especially in a school setting with 4 heterosexual males spouting their power every chance they get lol I now get the hype, love the fact that we're learning about the world while the twins are learning it, love tory and D'Arcy and I feel their strength is just about to get stronger the further we go in and cannot wait to see them unleash their power in more ways than one, oh and I'm still unsure about orion although he's given himself a reprieve. I love anything with fae, shifters and magical beasts and this has it all. Cannot wait to read book 2

Zodiac Academy: The Awakening is the first book in the Supernatural Beasts and Bullies series, ZA for friends. I am so in love and obsessed with this series that it is not even funny. If you ever ask me for a recommendation on Academy Paranormal Romance, this will be my FIRST choice. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS WORLD!Note that there is a novella before this book. However, I recommend reading it after book 3 if you want to go completely blind and discover parts of the story at the same time as our heroines.So, what is the story about? Darcy and Tory are twins that have lived all their lives in the mortal world from foster home to foster home. One night, Professor Orion appears in their tiny apartment and they discover that:1. They are Fae that belong to Solaria, the Fae world.2. They are princesses, heirs of the throne.3. They possess magicAs they are Royals, their inheritance is massive but they need to graduate from Zodiac Academy in order to get access to it. However, the 4 Celestial Houses are currently ruling Solaria since the twins’ parents died and their Heirs are also studying in Zodiac. As they want to rule in the future they will make the twins’ life hell so they drop out and they go back to the mortal world. This is why the book is considered a bully romance and you will want to punch some people’s faces.The book is written from the twins POV. I love their characters, they are so different but they are strong together and they complement each other. My favourite is Darcy as I can relate more to her personality. They are the strength of this book, seeing their bond and how they overcome all the obstacles that they throw on their way.The world-building is amazing and, as you can imagine by the name, it is heavily influenced by Astrology. Fae have Elemental Powers linked to their Zodiac: Earth, Fire, Air and Water. The Academy is split in 4 Houses linked to each power and each Heir is the Head of one House.Also Fae have Order forms, so you can find Vampires, Werewolves, Sirens, Dragons and multiple more.The romance is very slow-burn and you won’t even know who the love interests are as there are a few options for each of the girls. My favourites hands down are Darcy and Professor Orion, I guess I am a sucker for forbidden romance! They give me all the feelings!This was my first book from Caroline and Susanne. I love their writing style and how they really spend time developing the characters so you really care about them. I highly recommend you to check their series Ruthless Boys and Darkmore Penitentiary once you finish with Zodiac as they are based in the same world and there is some character crossover. Zodiac is NOT a Reverse Harem, however the other two series are.

The book hooked me in from the first few pages. This was recommended to me but I agree great book
