I really wanted to love this. I have been looking for a traveling desk for awhile. We travel with three kids - camping, hotels etc. I needed something for my kiddos to use in places that didn't have kid friendly furniture for activities and also meals, but could also pack up and carry easily. These seemed like a perfect solution. I ordered two (and a third one of a different brand). When I got them I was pretty happy. They are roomy enough on the inside, while still being slim when folded up. I noticed the sides didn't fold and unfold easily, but I hoped that would get better with some use. I also felt like they were only moderately sturdy (wiggle with use) - but what do you expect with a foldable lap table? My kids totally flipped for them, they were super excited. Then, during the first use, my 26 pound 2 year old stood on one and it immediately snapped. I 100% took the blame for that. I was disappointed of course, but I was very understanding that the product wasn't meant to be stood on and I chalked it up to life with toddlers. Then, about two weeks later we took it on our first camping trip. The first problem was, the "desk" wouldn't fit over their lap in any type of chair. We tried many arrangements, and nothing worked. The only way these worked was when sitting on the floor (or a bed, couch, or other flat surface). But in that scenario, their legs didn't easily fit underneath. I'm talking about a small 5 and 6 year old. I just found that weird. The sides also didn't stay snapped in place, so I was constantly having to fix them (to the point that I was ready to toss them!). We kept using them for coloring and workbooks, and my kiddos would kneel in front of it. But then on the second day my five year old was coloring, and leaned on the table, and the whole side snapped off. He is literally 35 pounds (small for his age) and was leaning with his elbow. If I hadn't seen the whole thing, I would have suspected something else happened, just because it was so absurd to see this brand new desk fall apart underneath him. I am going to update with pictures so you can see how the plastic literally snapped - not even at a joint or otherwise weak spot. This thing is worthless in my opinion. I know it looks like the perfect solution, but a total waste of money!!

It’s the perfect size and I love how the lid opens up for storage (it fits quite a bit of paper, and supplies), but on day two my 4 year old kind of tripped on it and it shattered into lots of pieces. The plastic is not sturdy. He was heart broken. We bought another one and as he opened the leg on the new one, one of the leg joints broke. So now I have purchased two in a one week period...of which both are broken!

Will be using this on a long car ride. Legs open a little hard but seems to be because they are sturdy. I will most likely have my son ask for help to open legs just so he doesn't damage them. Nice compartments to keep coloring books, crayons, pencils, and even a snack or two.

I bought this lap desk to be an actual lap desk. I've organized it to pay all my bills while I'm sitting on the couch watching tv. I looked at all the "adult" desks of this type, but none of them had the drawer spacr for my bills, checkbook, stamps, pens,etc. Believe it or not, I still have to write out and mail 2 bills each month and another every 3 months!I love this desk!

It’s ok. First one arrived cracked. Second was ok. The pins that are in the hinges of the lid keep falling out. They are easy enough to slide back in but just annoying. I know it’s only plastic but scared I’m going to break the legs when I open them up.

My 5 year old son loves it but can not open it himself and always needs help with it. Also the pins in the hinges come out constantly. It’s actually pretty annoying. I would definitely NOT purchase this again.

Love this little product my daughter loves it and it’s foldable legs! She takes it traveling with us, uses it in her bed sometimes to draw, uses it occasionally to eat while in the living room! Even fits in her travel bag or under the seat well! Definitely would purchase again!

Great buy for the price! I read several reviews where people were upset over the quality of the product, but we think it's great! We don't anticipate it lasting more than a year or so...that's why we purchased an inexpensive desk. It works perfectly for our needs.
