Love this product! And love Tom. He is an amazing human and I love the unique way he goes about dog training. I use the dogtra products for work as a trainer but also use them on my dogs at home. The issue for me was, I don't need the e-collar on my dogs all of the time just when training or going somewhere off leash. My dogs have different sized necks and I did not want to cut the original collar my unit came with so I was folding it over. This however makes things wayyyyy easier, quicker & more efficient! I read the bad reviews this product has received and I just want to say the following. If your dog chewed the bungee cord that's dangling, sorry but that's on us (the human) tuck it in, fold it, get creative. Dogs will chew things that dangle or are bothering them in the same way we would want something removed if it were bothering us. Also, how did your dog reach the back of its neck to chew the cord off? Because the electronic part should be towards the front of its neck or to the side not on the back. Anyways, if my cord does eventually need to be replaced I'll go ahead and replace it. The time this thing is saving me every day is worth it! I'm going to start recommending it to clients who don't have the time to fuss with the typical buckle collar on the daily. I especially love that when I'm out with my dogs doing active things, it's tight and secure without it being as constricted as the buckle collar was. I'm having my dogs run fast, jump up, go swimming and there is a lot of movement therefore this helps alot! Thanks Tom for creating this awesome and very cool lookin collar. NO BAD DOGS! Love it.

We struggled to find an easy to use collar for our dog that would accommodate her dogtra. Her neck is small (only 12.5 in) and this is the third collar we tried. The original was annoying to buckle and slid around. A fancy bungee collar didn’t leave enough room to properly place the dogtra. This one works great! Easy to put on, doesn’t move around much, and very subtle overall look. The strings do dangle but overall we are happy with this style.

Durable and easy replacement

Collar works great. Quick release. Down side if your dog chews the knots off the cord will come out, and you cant get it back in. The only option is to buy a new collar.

A great collar that we’ve used daily for two 1/2 years. We live on the beach so it gets a lot of wear from the surf and sand. It just needed new elastic so I purchased a new one.

Easy to use

Easy on and off. Doesn't keep contact well, so impacts training. Ended up switching back to standard type collar

Happy owner and happy dog. Getting the regular collar on and off was a pain in the butt. I ordered this strap and somehow my order got messed up and they sent me the entire e collar system. I’m not complaining. I would have been happy with just the strap though. It’s easy to set up, easy to get on the dog, and easy to take off. My boyfriend got one too and with his Aussie, it works well but the bungee securing thing does get caught in her hair occasionally. My dog is 95 pounds and has an 18 inch neck. It fits him wonderfully without having to try too hard to get it over his ginormous cinder block of a head. Definitely would recommend.
