RobertsSPORTS 925 Personal FM/AM Radio, Black

I use this radio with headphones. It has a good sound and simple analogue tuning, which I like. With headphones it is economical on batteries. Where I live (in London) reception is good on all the stations I want and I don't have to extend the aerial. So I can carry the radio in my pocket. It is small enough for my coat pockets, but I would like to see Roberts make a headphone-only version which could be smaller still.

Pleased with this little 2xAA battery powered Roberts radio. Low price and a bit plasticy as a result, but the reception is clear and the speaker is excellent with decent volume for such a small unit.Exactly what I wanted from a pocket-sized, take-anywhere transistor radio.

A fine little radio, I would agree with the other reviews featured,but l have one small gripe ,my radios power indicator light does not illuminate, I prefer to have a fully functional new product, hence four stars.Otherwise I am pleased with it especially the battery life attributed to this radio.

This Sports 925 analogue radio is superb. It's smaller than a similar supermarket 'own brand' one that I've had for a few years, with crystal clear sound. Being analogue, it doesn't waste battery power by having a display that's constantly on. Having said that, this does make it susceptible to having the tuning dial moved while it's in a pocket, but that's a compromise that I feel is worth it.You can plug stereo headphones in to it and the sound comes from both sides (unlike some models that I used to have, which only played sound through one channel if you plugged a stereo jack in to a mono socket). I already have some decent ones, so haven't tried the ones that that came with the radio, on the basis of the reviews I had read.

Nice little radio and works well.

Worked well for 2 months then useless. Now cuts out after 10 mins and will not restart unless left for some time. Then again cuts out quickly. New batteries do not help. Useless.

What a brilliant little radio. Just received and put batteries in. Turned on and off you go. Easy to use and a great sound for the size and price. Roberts have come top again with their equipment. Recommend to anyone to purchy this radio.10/10
