Can it repair a basket ball sized hole in a brick wall ?

It would not work for a vertical wall unless you use it to stick something like bricks together. It is too thin to support itself in a quantity large enough to fill a basketball size hole.

Is this waterproof and can be used to repair fountains? Im afraid water will soften it.

I would not use this to repair fiber cement roofing shingles. I do not know if or how well it would stick to roofing felt.
