Being older can make simple things harder to do - scooping ice cream is one of them. Getting a good grip on the scoop helps when ice cream is straight out of the freezer.This scoop really helps with the comfortable grip on the handle. No more having the scoop move around because I can't get a good hold on it.The only thing about this that is a little bother is that it really does not do well in the dishwasher. So, washing by hand is needed. Since that is the only semi-negative thing I have found for this scoop, I am giving it a five star rating.

Great scooper, super-comfortable handle (you don't want to put it away when you're done scooping your ice cream, seriously). A little bit on a smaller side, but it just means that you can not only scoop the ice cream, but use it as a melon baller too. Easy to clean (just rinse with a help of soapy finger), looks cute, my wife likes it. She has a very weak and aching hands due to neuropathy, but even she can get some ice cream without my help now.

The scoop worked OK for a few months and then the handle came apart from the metal scoop part. I will be looking for a refund and a new scoop. DO NOT RECOMMEND DUE TO POOR QUALITY AND LACK OF DURABILITY.UPDATEThe manufacturer sent me a new one with better glue. The replacement handle has been working well for several months, so I am revising my rating up.

As soon as I gripped it I felt the power of the scoop! I was so lucky to have a gallon of Neapolitan in my freezer. Not only was I able to use the scoop on one flavor but a total of three. Yes, three scoops on the first day of purchase! I couldn't help myself, I went out and bought 33 more flavors and scooped all night. Yes, 36 flavors and then some. I continue to use my favorite red scooper on a daily basis. I hope I'll never be without it.

The scoop was amazing for three uses. Then the handle broke off from the scoop. :(

I purchased this ice cream scoop off Amazon and received it in March. This last week, on May 23rd, I tried to use the scoop and the top popped off. This didn't even last three months and in that time I only used it a handful of times. Don't waste your money, buy a different scoop. I offered a Sumo scoop on here before this one and that one has gotten far more use and is a much better working and much more durable ice cream scoop for about the same price. Avoid this one, even the cheapest one at Wal-Mart would last more than 3 months.

The scooper end is alittle small, Its built very well but im a big guy and I love alot of ice cream, If you want to diet the scooper would be great for you because with some rock solid ice cream you will get a workout just getting a few scoops.

Well when I first got it I loved it. Bought it the first week of November and now a week before Christmas it has broke. I thought it was going to be heavy duty but apparently not. Why they make these this way I will never know.UPDATE: They sent me a brand new scoop with a letter of explanation and even a package of chocolate treats to enjoy. Because of this excellent customer service I changed review to 5 stars because I really do like this scoop. It works well with hard ice cream!!!!

Robusto ? Si rotto doppo poche volte e risciavo di varmi del male, mancava pocco. Lo preso apposta per il gelato del frizzer. Il gelato non era propio duro. Finalmente una paletta per gelato robusto come descritto, pensavo, ma none vero. Da sconsigliare prima che qualcuno si fa del male.

Dieser Portionierer ist kompakt und stabil, so daß man mit ihm ohne Mühe auch tiefgefrorenes Eis portionieren kann. Taucht man ihn zusätzlich vorher noch in heißes Wasser, benötigt man weniger Kraft und die Kugeln bekommen eine schöne glänzende Oberfläche. Aufgrund des massiven Materials wird viel Wärme gespeichert und reicht so für ein paar Kugeln, ehe man ihn wieder "aufheizen" muß.Der Preis ist mit 7,97€ völlig angemessen. Also meine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung für dieses Produkt.Ergänzung: Im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Rezensenten hier habe ich diesen Eislöffel tatsächlich gekauft und ohne für die Rezension bezahlt zu werden bewertet. ;-)

Best ice cream scoop we've ever had. Robust and does the job with ease. The scoop glides through the hardest of ice creams. Well worth the money.
