I store my travel trailer in a warehouse all winter. Getting it in and out has always meant driving my vehicle in, and trying to make sure not to run into anything. It's a tight fit. Then I thought, I wonder if there's a way to use my forklift to move the trailer around, and I found this. I didn't expect it to work, but it worked flawlessly right out of the box. It took me 5 minutes to attach to my forklift, and it turned an hour long ordeal of driving my SUV in, positioning it just right, and carefully backing it out with the trailer attached, into a 5 minute process. Well worth the money.

This does NOT fit standard forks. It is too tight, and unless you can file down the sides to about half the thickness, it will not slide onto your forks. Absolutely a waste of time and money. They clearly did not measure it to make sure it actually fits.

I use this on our tractor forks to shuttle equipment around the yard. Being able to look forward is so much better than twisting my neck back and forth to look out the back of the tractor. Easy install, great quality considering the price.

Lifting a trailer by the tip of a fork does not provide much leverage, so don't expect to use a compact tractor and lift a heavy camper or car hauler with this thing. For my purposes, I wanted a way to move things like my towable backhoe, an empty flatbed, and a 4x8 garbage trailer. It suits all of these purposes well, and it is much easier to position these items using a fork attachment rather than the pickup. All hardware shown in the picture arrived including safety chain.

Chain is way too light duty. Works good after changing chain.
