The small pans are 9.25 in Width x 2.5 in Depth x 11.75 in Length. You can fit two small pans inside the large pan. (comes with three large pans and six smaller pans to put inside) Can get more pans for cheap at wal-mart. The sternos and serving utensils are great (comes with three holding wire racks for the pans as well. Great price for this item. Hard to say how many it can serve because I do not know what type of food you are putting in it.
