Product description Cootie Jitterbug .com This fast-paced game will have players of all ages scrambling to scoop up bright plastic balls and drop them into Cootie's back. The catch is that Cootie will be scrambling just as hard to toss them back out. Pop in two C batteries (not included), make sure you have plenty of room, scatter the colored balls on the floor, turn Cootie on, and let the fun begin. Variations on how the balls are gathered can be determined for different ages. Easy assembly only requires the jitterbug's six legs to be slipped into place before play. A Hoot!
We've only had ours for 2 weeks so I can't comment on the durability, but the kids love it. We set it up and had bellyaches from laughing as we watched the kids play with it. Our 2-year-old jumped up and down screaming "ball!" while our 5-year-old ran around trying to keep the balls inside. I like the activity level involved, and the pieces are all big and hard to misplace (unlike other games with cards that get scattered everywhere). It is loud, though-- not something to let them do when your nerves are jangled. I hope the durability is not so lousy as the other reviews indicate, it's fun enough to want to last!

Cute but......
My 5 year old daughter got this for Christmas and it's cute, but the balls don't come out fast enough to make it a challenge for her or her friends. She still likes it and thinks it's fun, but she only played with it for about 10 minutes the first time. Overall I'm not impressed, but she likes it so that's all that really matters to me. I gave it's educational rating 2 stars simply because it helps strengthen playing with others. It looks well made which I appreciate.....and that's why I gave it highest marks in durability.

My Nephew Loves It
I purchased this gift for my 2 1/2 year old nephew. From my understanding he just loves the toy. While he isn't old enough to actually play the game - he is old enough to put the pieces into the bug and watch them pop out. His mom says it has provided much entertainment!

Fun Fun Fun
This game is so much fun...and extremely well-made. We're so tired of toys that fall apart, but this is a lot of fun and seems of great quality. It's perfect for about 3-4 years old, but our entire family had fun.

Sounded like a fast paced toy
I bought this for Christmas for my 3 and 4 yr old girls. They played with it once, and the balls take way too long to pop out of the holes, and when they do, they just sort of roll out. I thought this would be a fast paced toy that they could run around and keep picking up the balls, but it is way too slow. Maybe my 8 mo old will enjoy the little bug just walking around on the floor.

A all around good toy
I love this toy and so does my 2 1/2 year old son. The ball are different colors so I can teach my son the different colors and it is also good for counting when the ball come out of the bug and mind stimulation. This is a great educational toy. I love it.Trish RaganBlaine,Wa.
