The connections for both lights are missing a prong. A part of the mounting bracket came broken off and while i was exited to run them they will not work properly. Worst lights for a Tacoma save your money and do not biy

They look fantastic, but I dropped one star for quality control. I almost gave it 3 stars even, because we ordered these twice and both times had issues.The first time, we didn't double check the lights other than seeing if they looked to be in good shape and thus did not find out that one of the lights was missing a plug until we already had the front end apart and the old lights removed. One light correctly had 4 plugs, the other had only 3 with a paper cover over where the 4th should have been. It clearly came like that from the factory. There were unconnected wires behind the paper cover, so I'm guessing somebody was sleeping on the job when assembling it and just forgot to wire up that last plug. We sent them back.The second set had all the correct plugs and looked good. I installed them, reconnected the battery, turned on the lights...and nothing. The turn signals etc worked, but neither the headlights nor the brights worked on either one. There is not a single piece of paper sent with these, so no instructions at all and their website has no info either. Fortunately I found an install video on Youtube and they offered up some very helpful information:When hooking up the plugs for the headlights and brights, they are the same style plug and it isn't marked which is which on the headlights and of course as mentioned, no instructions. So it is very useful to know that the headlight plug has one wire, and the brights has 2. On the truck end, the headlight plug is green and the brights plug is yellow. So green goes to 1 wire plug and yellow goes to 2 wire plug.I did have it plugged in correctly though, but still no light! I found a clue buried in another review elsewhere, suggesting that if the headlight didn't turn on that meant the single wire was on the wrong side of the plug. I watched another video on how to remove and install wires in auto plugs, and successfully moved it over (you can't just plug it in the other way, the plugs are one-way). Somewhat to my surprise, this worked! And as soon as the headlight worked, the brights did too without changing anything there. Apparently the brights just won't work if the headlights don't work.Overall it was a total pain in the butt and the only reason I'm even giving it 4 stars is because once installed they are nice and bright and they do look great. However I am really not impressed with their quality control, with the first ones missing a plug and the second ones having a plug wired incorrectly on both lights. There is a review on the Alpha Owls website mentioning being told by support to change a wire, so presumably they had the same issue - so the manufacturer knows this is a problem and can't be bothered to either improve quality control or even include a sheet of paper saying this might be an issue.Overall I would still recommend them, just with the caveat to be sure and check that all the plugs are there, and be prepared that they may not be plug-and-play.

For newer Tacomas with the sequential turn signals it may be a plug and play, but for the older ones (mine is a 2017) it did not plug or play. I had the marker light and the high beams and that was it. No instructions or LED conversion kits included. Poor product

Okay, I have a 2020 SX that do NOT have any LED in them. These are pretty easy to install, just take out the old assembly and replace with new one. They’re plug and play. They work well except 1 issue. The issue I (and several others apparently had/have) is the low beam plug. I guess these are still “prototypes” and the plug for the low beams have 1 pin in them, so you have to switch the pins from one side to the other on the connection. Other than that they work well and they look great. Left side of truck is stock and right side is the alpha owls for reference.Update* I’ve noticed a beam of light going at a 40 degree angle up and I’ve reached out to the company many times but they haven’t responded.Update Update** I’ve called the company and got an employees email rather than the companies email due to me “not being able to send to this address” anymore. As soon as I sent it I was unable to deliver to this address as well so I’m assuming the company just blocked me. I tried to adjust the headlights using the alignment screw on the assembly but it doesn’t help the random beam. Overall I would give them 4 stars if the customer service was there and I didn’t have to MacGyver the wires for them to function. Disappointed
