These actually seem pretty solid. I got another brand about a year and a half ago that just fell apart. These feel a lot tougher and so far are working out great. Steering is tight again. The one on the driver's side was about a half inch short of going all the way around the rack and pinion but not so short that it wasn't usable. I'm glad I got em and think they were worth the price.

Most shops will tell you that you need a new steering rack but 99% of the time it’s these things which are easy to change. Please properly inspect your steering before you go out and spend 350 bucks on a new rack

Failed rubbers cause the steering ram to slide from side to side (limited by ridges on the metal ram) so if you find your steering wheel is angled at different angles for the same vehicle direction/tyre direction, then check if these have worn.Straightforward to install. Our original ones were damaged by leaking oil, so make sure you clean the area to remove oil (and solve the leak!) and pieces of the old ones if you also have that issue. Have run for several weeks with no issues at all.
