I got this product to protect a new IPod Touch that I bough my Autistic 5 year old. He is into electronic and always wants to play with our phone, but he mostly got a kick of calling ppl and hanging up as he got a kick of the dial tones. Now with the IPod he can play all the games he wants (ABC Mouse, PBS Kids, Nick Jr. etc) without us having to worry about him calling ppl. The case helps absorb the impacts from him tossing the IPod when it does not give him what he wants, specially the calling feature. The product has held up and protected the IPod. Love this case! It feels nice in the hand without feeling too bulky, it's just the right amount of slick vs slippery--not slippery enough that you feel like you'll drop it. It doesn't come with instructions (or at least mine didn't) but that's not a huge deal since it's really easy to figure out how to take it apart: the coloured pieces of the case pull apart and you're left with the "inside" where you stick your iPod touch. I really like that the inside is similar to the "outside" of an Otterbox and in my opinion this case looks and feels nicer than one of them. I bought this as a replacement for my Otterbox (which one side of the hard part of the case broke completely after a year and not even being all that rough with it, and the rubber grip was all stretched out and loose) and I gotta say, I'm really happy with my purchase. I got the mint green/grey combo so that it would match my iPad mini case (also mint green) and it goes well with my teal iPod touch.The buttons on this case are so easy to touch, there is no hindrance in use like some cases that I've used, they respond as if you don't have a case at all (or if it's one of those cases with cut outs for the volume and power buttons), which is great. My iPod touch really feels like it's protected by a case with some substance, but not too much.It does come with a film/PET screen protector you can apply since this doesn't have a screen protector built in. I didn't use it since I bought a separate screen protector, but it's a nice thing to include if it's not built into the case itself! It also comes with a stylus that you can plug into the headphone jack when not in use and it looks like you could put some kind of cell phone charm or something on it in addition, which is pretty cool and also a nice touch.Unlike the Otterbox there aren't plugs/covers for the headphone jack and charging ports but to me that is no issue since those were more an inconvenience than anything else. If you have the stylus in the headphone jack (or a pair of earbuds inserted) then you don't have to worry about gunking up the jack anyway. The case does inset the ports enough that it would be hard for anything to get inside anyway (except for maybe dust), so if you keep your iPod in a purse or pocket you don't have to worry about lint or other things getting in.Overall a very nice case! I would definitely recommend it and would most certainly buy another one if I needed to (or wanted to swap between).

I have had iPods for about fifteen years, maybe more - with this new one I'm on my fourth, I think. Maybe fifth. I have never had such a completely miserable experience as I have had trying to get this new one to work. They've managed to make it completely impossible. Whether it's asking me to verify my identity with security questions the answers to which I supplied twenty years ago and have since forgotten (and that Apple neglected to keep updated) or sending a verification code to a device their own servers should tell them was last turned on years ago (while I'm logged in on *two* other devices, and they have my email and my phone number), or it's the utter confusion over how I can copy over my music library without it getting completely fouled up, then how I can delete the music library Apple completely fouled up and try again, it's hours and hours of misery and frustration.Good thing for Apple they have a monopoly, it's absolutely their only protection.

The case itself fits the iPod Touch well. The cable opening for the Lightning connector is only big enough for the OEM Apple Lighting cables from Apple or Amazon. Otherwise, if you have any Lightning accessory (30-pin to Lightning or USB-C to Lightning), it will not fit and you must cut the silicone inner case to widen the hole, allowing it to fit. Having a hole that is too small for connectors is Silicone Injection Molding 101. The manufacturer on this is well aware of the issue, but rather than spend thousands of dollars modifying the tool in the mold, they are hoping it works for you, and relying on you to make modifications if it doesn't work. Great case overall, lazy manufacturing practices.

Very nice case for my iPod. It was easy to put onto the iPod and I feel like my device is very well protected. I recommend buying the glass for it as well for added protection for the screen. The case is not waterproof but I would feel safe with it in a light, misty rain. I had no problem plugging in my headphones and my charging cable while the iPod is in this case. The buttons also work very well while the iPod is in the case. Overall I think that this case is very sturdy for the price I paid and does a great job of protecting my device.

Okay...so this thing is beautiful, sturdy, and has a nice grip. My issue with it is that the lip over the screen is too deep and makes typing like...really difficult. I got this so I could easily access my music while driving and the deep lip gets in the way and makes it difficult for me to easily access the screen. Kind of dangerous since I can’t just use a thumb to change a song, I have to hold the whole thing in my hand and point my index finger to hit the screen. Otherwise you just hit the case with your thumb. Booo. It is really pretty though. I got the black one with flowers.

I have ipod touch 7. This cover fits perfect all 4 buttons work, also bluetooth and charging cable. Less slippery to hold, looks like it would afford some protection if dropped. It would be easy to break the cover putting it on or off. I put it on once then take it to the gym every day, no reason to ever take it off again. But if i drop the ipod maybe I'll be lucky and not break.
