can it fit 2 liter bottles standing up?

I don't have any in the house. According to Alexa, a 2 liter bottle is 12 inches tall. The inside of the cooler is only 10 inches so it will not fit 2 liter bottles standing up. They will fit if you lay them down.

How large is the Velcro quick opening. Im wondering if I could get a carton of almond milk through the hole/door?

Yes, a large carton of almond milk will fit through the velcro opening. It also depends on how full your cooler is, if there are other large items nearby the almond milk, it might make removing the item through that opening difficult. So if just pulling out the carton of almond milk and the cooler is half full, it should be ok. This is a very good cooler. Used it as a portable bar on our trips to the ball field. Held beer bottles and chilled fresh fruit. Kept everything cold all day for a weeks usage.

I don't know, but I've been delivering with 2 of these for a year plus, no problems. It being supposedly water tight makes it so the insulation goes up past the zipper. I wish that weren't the case, but no big deal.
