This was one of the first books I read on Quantitative Trading. I found it highly accessible, intuitive, and packed with valuable concepts and lessons. I strongly recommend it. I enjoy Ernest Chan’s writing style and have also purchased his book on Algorithmic Trading. Recently, I learned that he authored a book on Machine Learning as well, which I plan to read someday—so many fascinating books, and not enough time! Additionally, he co-authored a practical book called the 'Hands-on AI Trading Book' using QuantConnect, which is excellent for experimenting with different strategies and gaining a deeper understanding.
