Base cap does not thread well onto mason jars
20 year old blender blade had a bunch of metal paste at the bottom, so it was time to get a new blade. This works fine, but doesn't thread as well onto my mason jars, causing a little of my shake to leak into the plastic cap. The old blender base threaded perfectly and didn't leak. Ended up using the plastic screw cap from the old blender, and the new blade. Did much better.
