Makes some noise, but NOT a playable instrument
First of all, this Baronelli Blue Beginner toy accordion I received today had dirty bellows and a bent front grille. The item title says it is "translucent" but actually, it is clearly NOT translucent, but rather a pearloid/celluloid skin over wood. The "adjustable strap" is NOT adjustable. If you are hoping to actually play music on it, you will be very disappointed, as it is neither "easy for kids to play" nor "ready to play out of the box" -most of the reeds wheeze very badly and leak so much air and I cannot even play the scale on it. The few notes that do sound are way out of tune. Over the years, I have bought a number of similar toy accordions of various brands, but this one seems to be worse than most, in terms of quality control. I had already ordered several more of these, which haven't arrived yet, so I'm hopeful the others will be a bit better.

I bought one of these used at a swap meet several years ago and loved it. A friend had a lot of fun playing with my old one so I bought this one for him for christmas. It doesn't sound the same at all -- I think part of that is that it needs to be broken in, but one of the buttons makes an awful sound and I don't see that improving with use. I wish the manufacturing were consistent so I could be confident I was getting the same thing.

completely out of tune - great for horror movies
it was out of tune and sounds like music from a horror movie.

Do not buy!
As soon as I pulled it out of the box, the screws came off and the strap ripped after picking it up.

Not what i expected
Well it did not have a pearl finish. The corners had scuff marks. Sounds decent. But looks were below what I expected from the description.

It's Okay
It looks nice but my boyfriend says it sounds different than one he lost, so he didn't like it for that reason. He plays it for fun.
