Contaminated formula
We found what appears to be a dried up bug in our baby's formula. We previously found what appeared to be a small spider but were not sure and discarded the formula. This is the second incident.

Works great, costs a fortune
After trying multiple other formulas, our pediatrician put my daughter on this. It has helped tremendously with her digestion issues! There is far, far less vomit, spit up, and general discomfort. The only downside is the smell (kind of like old French fries) and the insane cost.

Expensive but worth it for Reflux & Colic!
Expensive but worth it. Our pediatrician recommended this formula for our newborn that was both a little colicky and Dealing with acid reflux. She has now been on this formula for almost 4 months, no problems and easy to digest. We are coming out of the acid reflex stage so we will be weaning her off of this formula during month 4-5. Yes this formula may be expensive but it really did help settle our little one’s tummy. I would definitely recommend !

Life Changing Formula
Within 24hrs of using this formula, my daughter went from screaming to sleeping and waking into a happy beautiful child. If your child suffers with colic then give this a try! This is expensive but similar to breastmilk and a good alternative to trying to eliminate potential irritants from your diet.

Lifesaver for my baby
Normally I don't write review but for this product I am writing as it's a lifesaver for my baby.My daughter was 2 weeks old when she had faced her 1st time colic issues. We tried everything. Gave her mylicon, pepcid, even gripe water (overdosed as well sometimes), but nothing worked as such. She used to cry for entire day almost. It was pathetic for me to see her like that. Nothing could console her. I was breastfeeding her as well as giving formulated milk. Even my pediatric also didn't say anything about this product. When I changed my pediatric, then she recommended me to use this. Immediately I bought it and started using it. Within 2 hours I saw the result. After 24 hours I can see the visible difference. Within 5 days she is much much better. Now she is 7 weeks old and I am using this product since 5 days. I can't explain in words how helpful this product is. Again my baby is smiling, eating properly and sleeping. Previously she was hungry, but unable to eat due to colic issue. She wanted to sleep, but unable to as she had extreme discomfort. But after using this product she is leading a normal life.Being a mother nothing could be happier than seeing relieved baby.Yes its costly, but worth it. Even if it will be more expensive, still I would buy it as its the only food for my baby . If I would get to know about this product earlier, then my baby won't face such stomach pain for 4 weeks

A Lifesaver (if Nutramigen does not work)
Ok, so yes this does not smell great or taste great but was a lifesaver for my baby boy. He had horrible gas and nutramigen was not working for him. On a whim I decided to try both the premixed and powder version of this formula. Both worked perfectly fine for him and he finally got some relief from his gas! We were literally having to give him gas drops every 4 hours before this. So happy we found something that works. He is 4 months now and still eating it just fine.

Fantastic results
We first started with Similac Pro Advance and thought the fussing, back arching and constant gas was just a baby being a baby. Our daughter is our first child and everyone told us, including the pediatrician that this is just how babies are and gave us all sorts of pointers to try and reduce the gassiness. She didn't scream and cry incessantly but was definitely uncomfortable A LOT of the time always twisting and arching during feeding and for a while after. One day just after her two month birthday we changed her diaper to find a little bit of blood in her stool and of course we completly freaked out. Called the pediatrician immediately , they took us in that night along with the dirty diaper and gave us sample cans of Alimentum saying she most likely has a milk protein insensitivity. The change was IMMEDIATE and GREAT. No problems since. The formula is expensive and I hope Similac only charges this because production costs are more, and not to gouge customers who have few other choices. But it is what it is, and it's only temporary until she grows out of it.Our precious little baby continues to do great on this formula over a month later and only has a minor reflux problem that seems to be getting better too.

Does what it’s supposed to do
It’s special so it’s super expensive. Was so happy when she could transition back to regular formula. She had milk protein related eczema as a newborn and after switching formulas the breakouts stopped. But the initial switch was hard. She wouldn’t eat and the SMELL!!! Regular similac gave her cute little baby milk breath but her breath after drinking this similac smelled so gross so I know why she didn’t like the taste of it. Unfortunately the only solution is to keep giving it to them until the get hungry enough to finally drink it. They’ll eventually drink more than the regular similac because it’s thinner.
