Perfect!
This Pelican Air 1525 case was the perfect size for my camera w/battery pak, 6-lenses, and essential accessories. Extremely durable and lighter weight than some of the other Pelican cases. The TrekPak Dividers are easy to install and do a superior job of safely separating my equipment. The perfect purchase for my needs.

Great for my guitar pedals
Look, these are the best cases when it comes to transporting gear. Simple enough. With some fly dates on the horizon, I was tired of the ratty fabric case I was flying $800 of guitar pedals around the world in. This contains everything without my having to break it down, and I have to say with this bright color, I'm not going to leave it anywhere by accident. I've had several Pelican cases. They are the best.

IT IS A PELICAN
LIGHTWEIGHT UNIT. I WAS WORRIED THAT THE CASE MIGHT NOT BE HEAVY DUTY ENOUGH. IT IS JUST FINE. I CARRY A SPOTTING SCOPE IN IT AND FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH ITS SECURITY IN THIS CASE. LATCHES WORK GREAT, I BOUGHT THE BLAZE ORANGE AND THE COLOR LOOKS GREAT. MY SPOTTING SCOPE CAME IN A WONDERFUL FOAM PACKAGE, SO I JUST PLUCKED THE FOAM FROM THE PELICAN CASE SO THE SPOTTING SCOPE FOAM FIT IT. WORKED GREAT. WONDERFUL CASE I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.

best carry-on case, period!
I've traveled with two Pelican Air 1525 cases to carry two Elektron synthesizers + cables and never had a single problem at the airports. Excellent size and weight to walk with them or to bring them by metro or car. Lovely product.

Great case - hits the endpoints of carry-on luggage
I sent this back only because I thought it hit the boundaries of what would be allowed for a carry-on in travel. Am still looking for the perfect size for my camera gear. Otherwise everyone knows Pelicans are well made and the gold standard in case production. Get the version with the customizable felt separators. I wouldn't recommend chancing this as a carry on but it does well in any other situation. Pelican has a good, detailed chart for their bags showing which will pass as carry-ons and which ones need to be checked baggage. Before you purchase consult pelicancases dot com and make sure what you get is what you need. Some have commented here that they had no problem carrying on a case of this size, but I travel a bit on smaller regional jets and don't want to take the chance of having to surrender my equipment to an abrupt plane-side baggage clerk.

TrekPak is the way to go...Pelican Air is also AWESOME
Upsized to the slightly larger Pelican case after purchasing more gear...decided to also try out the new TrekPak system. GLAD I DID! Very easy to configure to exactly what I needed quickly and cleanly. The inside of my case looks like it came from Pelican designed to fit exactly my gear. The Pelican case is still a Pelican, although a little lighter. It is ridiculously tough and will protect my gear without worry. Yes, it is a little thinner than the standard Pelican case, but this is not going into checked baggage, dropped off a building, or run over by a tank. It houses all my camera gear, and I am relatively careful with it already - this is just rest-assured protection against damage from a drop or stuff falling onto the case. Make sure you take note of the case measurements carefully. The interior dimension includes the LID DEPTH in the overall depth. If you have some lenses that are too long to fit upright, get some foam to put in the compartment you build for it and will lay above the TrekPak so you can get it out.

Great case
I use this case to carry my Labradar and it works great. It has enough room for the labradar and it's tripod and and external power source.

An excellent case with limited options and terrible support
Not 100% sure how to specifically explain this, but... Pelican cases are great and Pelican as a company kind of sucks. To be super clear - I use my Pelican case to store and protect my Z Cam E2 F6 camera and a set of cinema lenses from Rokinon. All together, it's almost ten grand in equipment just in that case, so it's really important to me that it's a rugged case that won't break, leak, or get lost. I got the bright orange one because frankly I'm a person of color and I do a lot of real estate and fashion photography in public places, which means I don't need some Karen seeing me and my camera case and thinking I'm out here causing trouble. Regular black Pelican cases look like gun cases (some people use them AS gun cases, they're great cases). So I went with bright orange because it draws more attention, it doesn't look like I'm trying to sneak around and it definitely doesn't get lost when I'm set up in the woods or something. Anyway, the case is great... except that Pelican for whatever reason only offer the TrekPak inserts with their black cases. Getting the case with the TrekPak stuff included saves money over getting the empty case and a separate TrekPak set, to the tune of $30-$50+ per case. For a small production company like the ones I act as an equipment advisor for, that's a pretty significant difference when it comes to ordering in quantity. So I wrote in to Pelican and asked about why they don't allow TrekPak inserts with non-black colors, because the cases are the same otherwise. It took them over a month to answer and when they did, they didn't actually answer at all, they literally told me that the Pelican site isn't set up to sell products and that if I had product-buying questions I should contact one of their sellers. This is problematic partially because it isn't true - the Pelican site is a storefront where their products can absolutely be bought direct - but mostly because it's indicative of the kind of support you can expect. The reason I'm including this story in my review of the product is because Pelican cases, regardless of where you buy them, include a manufacturer warranty which includes product support. If my simple question about the products they offer took them over a month to answer and the answer they gave was both a lie AND off-topic, imagine if you had a real problem with your case on a production or while traveling, imagine if you needed a replacement due to a malfunction or defect, and when you got in touch you just didn't hear back for over a month. Pelican's warranty is a major product feature, it's a big part of why people buy Pelican cases, and I'm telling you right now that THAT particular feature is actually pretty much worthless and can't be relied upon. In any case (no pun intended), the actual physical product is fine. I bought it empty and bought a separate TrekPak insert, it fits snugly and since I measured it very carefully before cutting pieces to size it also fits all my gear exactly perfectly inside of the single case. Nothing bumping around, no additional padding needed, case closes nice and tight with heavy duty clasps, I tested the waterproof-ness by accidentally bumping it into a puddle during an unexpected rainstorm while I was shooting on location one day, and I sat on it specifically to test the "crushproof" feature (I'm a heavy dude, I'm 6"4 and about 430lbs, the middle of the case sank like a little bit as expected but it DEFINITELY wasn't anywhere near breaking, I could've probably jumped on it and it'd be fine). The only feature that really sucks is the support.
