This wireless switch was purchase to control DC to DC systems/12 volt sub systems in one of my rvs. This wireless relay/switch comes with a button you can fix mount and a little remote control you can keep on keychains depending on your preference. you get your money's worth with this switch as it has good range and a compact size. It's simple to use with just on and off switching. Both buttons in the relay are made of durable plastic that is good to place almost anywhere. I'm not sure if it's waterproof and I wouldn't take the key chain version and put it on your actual keys due to the flimsy clasp. The big button has double-sided tape that will eventually fail prematurely would recommend 3m. I tested it up to 50 yards away believe it can do much further :-).

I purchased this item to control the docking lights on my RV without having to go to the switch outside. The device was easy to install, the remotes paired without trouble and work well to turn the lights on and off from inside the RV as well as inside my truck. THE PROBLEM IS that the lights will randomly turn off and must be turned back on with one of the remotes. Nothing in the instructions or online descriptions indicates that this happens. I even tried a second power source and the same thing happens. Does anyone know of a way to correct this?

We used the wireless switch for an LED work light mounted on our service truck. It is definitely a step saver, we used the switch with the self adhesive strip and attached it in the rear utility box. The key fob remote is on the truck keys, you can turn the lights on or off from the box or the cab without running wire through the tool cabinets.

We needed a way to turn on our magnetic door locks remotely. It was a 12 volt circuit and this worked just like expected and has a good range. Passed thru 3 walls inside a metal building and worked from 100'. It fit inside the existing switch box so you wouldn't know it was there. Both remote controls operate the power to the door lock.

I have no electrician skills whatsoever, yet I decided to tackle a project to bypass the on/off switch for a color changing LED light in the crystal of my new dragon statue with a remote control. I bought this and didn't even have the knowledge to power it adequately, trying run the 5V minimum receiver with 3V of battery power. My inquiry to the seller was answered within 90 minutes and he explained the power issue. Over the next several days he continued to answer my Amazon messages for help, providing answers and hand drawn schematics to teach me the correct wiring sequences, even directing me to purchase a 330 ohm 1 watt resistor which I had no idea I needed. With the seller's infinite patience and invaluable help I achieved my first step, proof of concept, and now have a mini remote system turning a light on and off via a hand held control. This package also came with a 2nd wall mounted remote which I found very generous. I can now proceed to removing the statue's existing battery pack and switch, doing disconnects, and inserting this remote system in it's place. I can't wait! For anyone with a remote control project that requires a mini receiver, I cannot suggest this unit enough. It works, and you won't find better customer support anywhere. I am more than happy with my purchase.
