I hid these behind the grill by mounting to the steel bumper, so they are solid. They project a wide but not tall pattern so good for fog lights without blinding oncoming drivers. They are not as wide as traditional fog lights and not as narrow or far throwing as traditional driving lights. I feel this is perfect as wide fogs don't reach very far and narrow driving lights don't help on curvy roads. WE turned them outwards a bit so they illuminated the white lines on the road so it is very easy to stay in your lane when these are on. Unfortunately we hit a deer and cracked the lenses so I bought replacements, and will mount them father from the grill this time. Very happy with these lights, Highly recommend.

I love these (fog) lights and quite frankly use them nearly every time I get behind the wheel. Don't be fooled by the reference name of foglights. These lights increase your visibility to other drivers around the clock. I use mine day and night. City and highway driving. Rain, snow, night driving and fog your vision is greatly enhanced by using "foglights". Deer lurking in the shadows stand out clearly in these lights beam as well as road signs. These lights are made from high quality aluminum body housing which stay cool during use and the projected beam casts a generous field of coverage both on the road ahead and to the sides. Auto stores carry lights claiming to be foglights. They are usually clear lenses with maybe an iridescent color coating on them. Only amber/yellow lenses work.

I wanted the "Old School" look of the rectangular shape, & these were about all there is out there, that I can afford. It was quite a struggle to get them mounted -- I had to use my own Hardware, and had to get Creative with it. But, after getting them wired up & mounted, they work great. They are much brighter than I was expecting, & I was able to direct them where I wanted them to shine.

I used these for a truck my first ones got water in them but they responded fast and sent a replacement before i sent back the defective one. So far they have been working good. Also the mount breaks pretty fast needs a better one.

The lamps do not include switch, fuse, or wiring. The lamps are bright, substantial, and attractivebut the mount is small. There isn't enough clearance to slip a socket over the mounting fasteners to tighten them in position and a wrench doesn't fit either. It's a do the best you can do situstion and I have yet to see if the movement of the truck will cause the lamps to misalign (x and y axis).

These are a perfect fit in the fog light openings of my 97 explorer. I was more than excited to get them wired up and installed. I used the factory brackets as mounting points for some universal brackets found here on Amazon. Installed some waterproof connectors onto the factory harness and they work great!I truly hate the fact that they're not Amber. They don't match the corner marker lights or turn signals at all. I tried applying 2 layers of amber translucent film over the lenses. The only benefit I got from it was a layer of protection, lol.Great lights, just not Amber. Very yellow. Color temperature is not as advertised
