I wanted to avoid falling into the trap of buying a cheap plastic one and not getting a decent result. This does look a little like a mini industrial deep fat fryer but the 2.5L size is compact and easy to store.I'm not cleaning engine parts in this thing, but it has been put to good use already cleaning some old heirloom jewellery and some newer stuff that had turned dark grey from sitting in a drawer.The heating function is very effective (be careful not to burn yourself!) and everything I've cleaned so far (on a 30min cycle with some dish soap) has come out sparkling and looking better than new. It effectively replaces Brasso and elbow grease.I also had an issue with a diver's watch, which would leave black marks on my wrist in warm weather, no matter how much I cleaned it. This machine has deep cleaned the watch, solved the dirty marks and also left the crystal much clearer.It is quite loud - I find the sound a little teeth shattering (like nails on a chalkboard), so best not to sit in the same room when its running. Apart from that it cleans well, heats up nicely and the timer function works.The only negative is the instructions had different text for each label, so I had to decipher it by the symbols alone. It describes the Sweep and Turbo buttons as "mild" and "normal" (or something along those lines). But thankfully the symbols are the same so I worked out that Turbo is the mode for normal cleaning. I suspect it's a revised model with old instructions in the box.

Would have expected better at the price,but it does have some good functions. Why do these machines have to be so noisy?

works great with the correct cleaner i used a 1 to 5 mix cleaned all the old fuel out of my carburettor and good for air brush parts.

Bought this item specifically to salvage delicate electronics with alcohol as the cleaning agent. This item can be used for that however keep in mind that it is not huge, 2.5L might seem big but it barely fit my board. I did it in two halves.If you use it for that, make sure you're not heating up highly flammable alcohol and it's fumes.The cleaner seems to have an unusual set up, where upon being plugged in it defaults to the highest setting, i.e. 80 degrees and 95 minutes of cleaning. Fairly easy to adjust but slightly annoying.After that, I used dish cleaning solution and water to clean jewellery etc. it works wonders. The only surprise was when I heard the sound similar to a pot getting hotter and realised it was attempting to heat up the water. Useful, but not needed to 80 degrees.The item is considerably loud. Keep it away from people that get annoyed by that, like your partner. On the other hand you can now clean very dirty stuff in this instead of the dishwasher, like a bike cassette. I recommend this product.

It's alright certainly not powerful but it will help loosen and clean stuck on grease and dirt just wish it had a drain like the larger models

This is a great little bath and if you understand ultrasonic cleaners, you'd know that dual 30watts isn't going to be as effective on larger items than ones with 3 or 4 40 or 50 watt transducers.RIGHT TOOL FOR THE RIGHT JOB, eh folks?!Previously I had a supermarket brand thing. I mean it was ok, but i found i had to run things through 6 or 7 times (on a 2 minute cyle) in order that things were suitably "clean".The raised basket, adjustable temperature, adjustable frequency AND degassing features are brilliant!You won't always need the heater as the temperature of the liquid will increase as you use the machine, but the display on the front helps you monitor what's going on and whether you need to boost it (especially on the first clean or two with fresh liquid.There's been some inaccurate "reviews " on this particular product, hence the review title. It's exactly that.We all have access to a certain search engine these days, so use it to find out exactly what you need for your purposes.Don't buy this if your looking to clean gunky, large vehicle parts, with no understanding of settings. Your results won't satisfy you.That's not the fault of the machine, that's user error and not buying the right tool for the right job.

This unit works well but it’s slow so if you are expecting gleaming items after 30 mins, you’ll need a much more powerful unit.However I got a 44 year old carb nice and clean with 4 30min sessions.The instructions don’t tell you what the settings do or best use of them. I’ve found “pulse or soften” works best.The heater is a bit erratic as you set the temp but sometimes it goes higher. You’re not going to damage carbs with it though as they can stand higher temperatures that that.At the end of the day this is an inexpensive unit, it’s a bit noisy, a bit slow but it does work.Oh and I too noticed the bubbles only lasted a while but it still seems to work if you add a little patience

The media could not be loaded. Well where do I start......I purchased this item to ultrasonically clean some motorcycle carburettors. This will just fit in one at a time.I filled it full of ultrasonic cleaning fluid, set the temp to 40 degrees and off she went. Loudly.Initially you could see ripples in the water and after 3 goes at this the ripples are no more despite the sound.The temperature just doesn't work. Why have a setting if it won't hold the desired temp? Whether the temp button is on or off it just keeps climbing and climbing.I'm not going to destroy my carbs with this so I'm sending it back.Attached video shows you what the temp is set at and what the temp reached.More time wasted now sending back waiting for refund and getting one from another brand. Fed up.
