I love this table!!! It was super simple to put together. Very sturdy and heavy. The leaf is built in and very easy to manage.

I love this table. It's the perfect size for my downsized apartment. At 42 inches it seats 4 very comfortably. I have not yet extended the butterfly leaves. The package for the tabletop was torn during delivery and I held my breath & crossed my fingers for no damage as I unwrapped it. It was wrapped very securely and there was no damage. This package was oversized and HEAVY so I'm not surprised it took a bit of a beating. I absolutely needed a strong friend to help me get this up a steep flight of stairs to my apt. The option was to disassemble the box outside and bring up the parts individually. The tabletop would have still been terribly heavy! The instructions were great. The packaged hardware was separately labeled with an extra washer, locking washer and nut included "just in case." The needed tools were included. It went together very easily, a testiment to great design. It's incredibly sturdy with no wobble thanks to the leveling nubbins on the bottom of the legs. There is absolutely no movement as I lean on one side, either. I am completely pleased. The color, style and visual weight is a beautiful match to my existing chairs. My friend claimed it looks like the table was built for my chairs. My apartment now feels like a home!

Very sturdy, well built and nice finish. Couldn't find a scratch or dent on it anywhere. Goes together easy enough. Top is very heavy, so get some help before trying to wrestle it, especially once it's all assembled. Otherwise, much nicer than expected for that price point.

Very pleased with this purchase. We looked for many months and finally decided on this à la carte table for several reason including price, style and size. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions were clear and easy to read. The butterfly leaf works perfectly converting the table from a 42” round to a 60 x 42” oval. The color and finish are what we expected.

I'll be honest, I was nervous to buy this table due to lack of reviews. So here I am to add to the reviews to help others who depend on them, like me. It took nearly 3 weeks for this table to arrive in California and be delivered to my house. The matching chairs came much earlier. I was worried when the Ceva delivery guy rolled this box end-to-end down my driveway..... But upon opening it, I couldn't find any damage. Just lots of packaging! Great job East West. (**THE PEDESTAL BASE AND LEGS COME IN A SEPARATE BOX, BUT WERE DELIVERED AT THE SAME TIME) My toddler was delighted to destroy packing foam while I verified that all parts were present. We were good. Next I removed the table top to verify the leaf was working. Difficult to manipulate on the floor, but it worked fine. This sucker is HEAVY. HEAVY HEAVY. Even my husband was impressed. I was, however, able to do it on my own... Very carefully and working on a rug and a stack of cardboard for assembly. I had no problems with assembly. Especially once I got a ratcheting wrench and 13mm socket from the garage. Oh, and a size 4 Allen wrench that was way better than what they supplied. Even better, get your impact driver with a 4mm Allen tip (I'm not a pro...I don't even know what it's called... But I do know enough not to overtighten. Between unpacking and testing and assembly, it took me an hour. I now have a beautiful breakfast nook table and I love the matching chairs. FYI. Breakfast nook size: 7' x 10'. Walls are tan, trim is pure white. This table comes in at a color in between. Definitely for a warm tone room. And definitely nowhere near white. I'm pleased. I also really like the matching chairs. Highly recommend.

I took so long finally deciding on a table that when this arrived it was a very exciting day! It was packaged well, so well that a damaged area was worrisome but the table was not even scratched. My husband and son put it together which seemed to go smoothly. It is really beautiful to look at. My favorite about this is having the round table that's a great size for our smaller space..then the magic when you pull it open the built in storage reveals the butterfly leaf which adds 18" of amazing space, turning the table to an oval top ready for the family feast or arts and crafts day..with a sturdy tablecloth of course.

This table matches the color of my IKEA chairs perfectly. The table is solid and sturdy and assembly was quick. The table top arrived a day before the base arrived. The company did respond quickly when I inquired about the tracking info for the base. Once the table was assembled, and we extended it to the oval shape, we found that the leaf did not fit perfectly on one side, and it will not close flush. The holes do not line up with the pins for a flush closing. The hole seems to be lined with metal and can’t be drilled to create a larger hole. This does not prevent the table from being used when extended to the oval shape, but there is a gap on that side of the leaf because the table will not meet all the way flush. I contacted product support on the company’s website about this problem. As of this posting, I have not heard back from them. There was also a hairline crack on the table top. It’s not as bad as some others I have seen posted here and it is livable to be honest. I’m more bothered by the leaf, not sitting flush when the leaf is in use.
